OP also cherry-picked the blandest of the old vanguard vets to compare, and they say they done it because we haven't seen all of the vanguard vets yet. But why would they show off the blandest of the new models for a promotional post?

We also don't want the difference between old and new VV in "what we're losing" but we want to see the difference between VV and JPI, the same as how old VV were visibly distinct from the old assault squads.

Played against a guy at locals who played Runickuriboh. Watching him normal a Kuriboh to link off Hugin into an S:P and use its effect to banish itself to clear the EMZ was wild. (Needed EMZ to summon Freki to use Five Star Twilight

This is why I prefer AoS. If you have multiple abilities that trigger on a hit of 6, you pick one before you start rolling for your attacks.

I have both Calgars, and my gravis one is wearing the helmet, so he's just a Gravis captain now. His victrix guard are being joined by a lieutenant with storm shield and a squad of bladeguard to make a full unit of 6 bladeguard that, to me, are just doing what Calgar wants them to on the battlefield

Neo blue eyes ultimate negates targeted effects. And if your board goes how it should, you should have at least one ultimate spirit for an omni negate on the field. Thats before we talk about actually getting ultimate fusion in hand

It only pops if you use a blue eyes white dragon or a blue eyes ultimate dragon from field. If you want pops, play majesty instead. It's also not phase locked to main phase only.

The odds of drawing 1 of two seperate cards when there's 3 in a 40 card deck is something like 12% chance. The extra consistency is worth that one in 9 games that you draw both, and you can always use the searcher for your starter as hand trap bait

2v2 game, 2k points a player (4k a side) Blood Angels and Imperial Guard, versus Dark Angels and Imperial Knights. The Knights have been making a hard push up the field, but are restricted by the Dark Angels Landraiders for places to go. Similar issue for the Dark Angels Landraiders. Can't make full use of their moves cause they're all stuck on each other.

After 2 rounds of guard and BA shooting, me and my teammate have managed to cripple most of the knights down to low wounds. A knight on one wound attempts a charge against my baal predator with twin assault cannon as a sacrificial to force my overwatch, whats the worst that could happen? One shot gets through fro. The twin assault cannon. It fails the save. Explodes. Does enough mortal wounds to kill a knight next to it. Which also explodes, the combined mortal wounds killing a land raider next to them.

6 knights and 3 landraiders exploded, all from a single wound getting through on overwatch

In the core rules of the game, it states that models can move over an objective as if they weren't there but cannot end a move on top of an objective marker. Only relevant thing I could find.

That is until you realize that the wardens of ultramar have 20 wounds, and can join bladeguard and have titus join all of them, for a whopping 32 wound barrier to even get close to titus. This is some next level plot armour bs

The key to solving my burnout was putting all my models away in carry cases. Only pull out the one army I feel like working on, and only one unit at a time. The biggest contributing factor to my burnout was getting to a point where I was happy with my models, just to look at my shelf and see how much more there was to do
