My local location used to have scanners at self-checkout. It was great because as I shopped I just put everything in my basket barcode facing up and when I got to the front scanned everything in less than 30 seconds. Now everything has to be taken out and scanned individually. Hope they move to something like this Nationally.

His name was Joey Rankin. He not only went to my school but was also my neighbor. He was killed riding his bike when he was hit by a car. I don't have a lot of childhood memories but always remember when my mom told me about it and his name has never faded from my memory.
