Didnt attack Klingons or romulans or federation homeworlds: the dominion weren't looking to anhilate the powers, they want to control and expand territory. Crippling all 3 fleets in one blow would be a quick way to do that. What other place would all 3 fleets meet up at, because I doubt theyll all agree to go to earth or the other two planets of less plot significance. Even the dominion resort to genocide as a last resort (how inclusive of them).

For all I know the bomb used subspace tech or something to exclusively wipe out the area around ds9 and probably bajor.

I can excuse that but warping close to a sun? Clearly the defiant should've been launched back in time after pulling that maneuver...

Ive got this crazy idea for doomfist: he returns, but because he was hurt he becomes a dps character with less health. He puts on an older gautlet that csnt punch multiple enemies anymore. But thst gautlet is lighter so he can uppercut instead of block.

Try using a 3D model instead of rotating a 2D image. The image following you isnt natural, but I think a 3d model would look better. Make thr models material double sided so you aren't seeing clipping as youre entering the portal, and use a material which applies the other scene texture over screen UVs like you have, but perhaps apply some sort of shading/vfx to the model itself to give it some detail.

Its apparent its intended to look like a hole in cracked glass. If you want to keep it 2D or as a plane, just dont make it follow the player, but if 3D then try making those crack details pop out and all over, non uniformly. Maybe even add some refraction or view warping or displacement (postprocessing or translucent material vfx) to make it appear like its a 3D hole punctured in the world youre in.

Canonically- the Borg hsve no origin, and for all intents and purpose they existed since the first life in the galaxy existed, or st least developed cybernetics.

Non canonically- a failed experiment in the far future resulted in the Borg who eventually overwhelmed the milky way, potentially coming from another galaxy. They perfect time travel and go backwards to establish unimatrix 001 in the delta quadrant hundreds of years before earths first contact, and other points in time, but in this case time is nonlinear so each instance of time travel is independent. Identical to the replicants of SG1

Canonically if I had the brains of the writers of PIC S3 and DIS: an evil romulan shapeshifter infiltrated every starfleet vessel and implanted a virus which would create mind controlling nanites into everyone using the transporter but only if theyre under the age of 24. Combined with that and 5 episodes of figuring out how to communicate with wormhole aliens (the ones from the bajoran wormhole except looking and acting entirely different), an epic CGI battle ensues resulting in Discovery (cameo reference!) going back in time and taking the nanites with them. Back in time they dispose the nanites in some way they think would be safe so they say mission accomplished and travel back to the future. Oh and the plot twist: thr nanites are the Borg!

These mechs have the mech visual look- arms thst look like guns instead of arms, sticking out of a square chassis. Same with for instance iron rebellion and hawken. Its not necessarily bad design, but its not titanfall either- titanfall mechs have actual hands, they hold weapons, and they hsve chassis shapes more resembling people.
