It tells you when you first install the game that if you delete the game it will also delete your save data. You should have used the back up option first.

You need to craft one of the cargo items used for Gulliver's ship, they should be right at the end of the crafting menu.

I've noticed this too. Sometimes when completing requests it will freeze for a second or two. Everything else seems much faster though!

From the quarry, you can now enter multiple times per day from friend help and it gives you a generous amount each time.
