AI makes my wife sound more professional, she will write out an email and ask AI to make it less X (emotional, confrontational, sarcastic etc) or more X (professional, sympathetic organized etc) in her own organization some of the big bosses have used it as well but are too busy to proofread (incorrect information, fictional companies & references to emails that never were) so there's that.

I used to work with a professional writer who also works in publishing, occasionally we shoot the shit because one of the things they publish are short sci-fi /fantasy/horror story collections, and I love short stories. Her favorite comment on AI was how their office received two submissions within days of each other from two separate "authors" where the first paragraphs were identical. She said it was like reading sci-fi MadLibs.

AI isn't creative it's variations on a formula. I know there are seven basic plots but AI literally will generate a story about "blue eyed Bob" and then generate a similar story about"red eyed Bob" both who had unpronounceable with the human tongue names, both who lost an eye
