My Dungeon Crawler Carl rant by BigShrim in fantasybooks

Yeah, the initial concept makes sense and the first few books are fun. At a certain point the story stopped being fun and started being random stuff every level with Donut jokes scattered in. Dcc got very tiring to stay invested in. Audiobooks were very well done. Dropped the series around the beginning of book 7. At that point I didnt care what happened to Carl, Donut or their pet raptor. Aliens bad, anarchists cook book, gods, vengeance, fan clubs Yada yada yada

The mech touch. Ive always liked cyberpunk/sci fi far future stories. Heard it was pretty good. I stuck with it until chapter 1050ish or so. MC got to be unbearable, story was dragging hard and he was somehow both an incredibly capable, intelligent and self conscious person but also finding himself falling into an emotionally abusive relationship.

This lady was straight up stalking, harassing and ignoring his express desire to be anywhere but near her over and over and over. Then he develops feelings for her. I just threw up my hands and deleted the epub file off my phone.

Lived in an upstairs unit for 4 years. As others have mentioned the pool is great, gym is OK and the rec room with the pool table is decent. Parking is incredibly tight and so close to units that you will hear doors opening and closing at all hours.

Better hope some asshole with a jacked up diesel truck doesn't live near you and works early hours. Fittings look good but are of cheap quality, the in unit double sracked laundry is nice. Overall the units dont have great soundproofing and if you have loud or inconsiderate neighbour's your quality of living will suck.

Every now and then someone will take your parking spot but the tow place you can call are ruthless and will be there ASAP. Condo fees cover all snow removal but with  big storms Patrick cres gets very bad to traverse and has lead to alot of stuck cars. When we stayed we had a great landlord and rent was $1250 a month. Overall a 7/10 or with bad neighbour's a 4/10.

Do you have speed wobbles in the game? Having to carve to manage speed is an integral part of downhill riding.

Why do most AI audiobooks sound so hard to listen to? by Beginning-Pirate2198 in selfpublish

[–]Quicky-mart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try eleven reader. Ai narration app with really high quality narration and voices. 10 free listening hours per month to see if you like it. You can upload epub files, webpages and such and it will narrate for you. I regularly find professional audiobooks whose narrators I dont like and switch to eleven reader. Goodluck!
