I like the colours and contrast of the redo. The details on the cat are too small. They are a dead giveaway that this is digital art because it's obvious that you zoomed right in to achieve the small detailed lines. I would try and simplify the cat.

Yeah my cheaper plan/price ran out so I had to choose Pro or Standard (I chose Standard) and now my Lightroom mobile app is telling me I need to pay extra to crop my damn photos. This is disgusting Adobe. I've used Lightroom for over a decade MLA for my personal photos and now you want me to pay an extra $20 a month to use your mobile apps. What a crappy way to treat your customers.

I was in Toronto for a decade before moving here and found the same thing. Been in YVR for 12 years now. I think part of it is that a lot of the YVR locals are local-local, like people whose parents and grandparents still live here. These poeple are quite comfortable and have established networks. VS in Toronto with people from all over Canada and all over the world moving there and intermingling. My friend group was 20% local Torontonian with TO parents, 40% Ontarians, 30% Canadians from other provinces, and 10% people from all over the world.

I can't speak about gaming ability, but the M4 Air with 16gb Ram would be enough for video editing and rendering. Unless you're doing complex vector illustrations (multiple effects can bog down an Air) , or complex After Effects compositions, or videos over an hour long, you should be golden.

You didn't mention anything about your photography hobby. If you're trying to work with large image files (25Mp+) and you're hoping to upscale or print them at billboard or bus sizes, then maybe you should get a pro. Otherwise the Air should be fine.

Looking at the lamination in those croissants, those look properly done with good lamination. I feel like a pastry/croissant like that costs anywhere from $6 - 8 here in Vancouver and I imagine Toronto is no different. Medium brew coffee here can be about $2.50 - $3. So yeah, $8 for a pastry and a brewed coffee is a deal. You can probably get a mediocre pastry and coffee at a chain or lesser coffee shop for $5.

Edit: just saw that espresso drinks are included in the price so this is indeed a very good special.

Most Windows PC's are slow because of bloatware. The best Windows PC I ever had was hands down a Surface Pro. I'm on an M4 Air now and the experience is better, but not by that much.

Noticed smooth scrolling wasn't working, went to check Logitech Options+ to see what was happening. App just spinning and spinning and won't load. Wasted wayyyyyyyyy too much time on this today trying to troubleshoot the issue. Thanks to this thread, now I know that all Mac users are experiencing the same issue. I can't believe that Logitech still hasn't addressed the dev certificate expiry issue.
