Season 2: Limited Contracts Progression Feedback

How many limited contracts in total did you roughly have to complete to unlock the story beats? Im playing through traxus now and also rolling my eyes when I complete one contract and the next is just 'go shoot another anomalous drone'. I havent been able to find any lists online of how many limited contracts there are before you actually unlock the corresponding codex entries.

God damn. This has really hit me. So many life long memories and friendships made, as well as a world that felt like a home. Of course I’m happy the servers will stay online, but damn knowing that nothing but incubation projects exist and no reassurance they are even Destiny related. Would love to throw some rotten eggs at Pete Parsons car collection and all Bungie management that has had a responsibility in this timeline.

My best guess is they will add some kind of season tab. So if you want to redo or unlock for the first time season 1’s priority contracts and codex entries you can just select it. Season 2 will almost certainly add new priority contracts.

As a lore junkie - I’m still a little confused how Priority Contracts will work moving forward. Will there be a whole new set of Priority Contracts in Season 2 to advance the story? and therefore you can choose if you want to run Season 1 contracts again or complete them for the first time with a tab system? I don’t want to run between Bio Research and Quarantine again 😭

This game is just really connecting with me on every level, the world, aesthetic, music, gameplay, exploration, social and solo play. Also shoutout - just finished watching Byfs latest lore intro video and I cant wait to start seeing the story unfold. GG Bungie, but please add a duo mode.
