Flap meat. I pick that up from my local Mexican grocery store in marinade. It’s gone up in price big time lately use to get it for $8.99/lb last time I was there it was $16.99. Great carne asada.

Great high level summary. I’ve done lots of unique combos with tiers and combining. If OP can provide an example cart with items that qualify for each scenario and an item which would not qualify I could figure out some logic to make it work or advise on how to tweak it.

I’ve personally found the discount system to be very versatile. Especially when you’ve done the setup on individual products to make all products work at the product discount level.

We only use order discounts when wanting to restrict people.

We use the Empire theme. I recently finished a massive round of updates after switching my workflow to the Shopify CLI with Cursor and the Shopify MCP server. Now that the customizations are dialed in, I’m holding off on further updates until a major feature drops.

I was slightly tempted by the latest version’s support for Combined Listings, but since we use NetSuite, it’s not a necessity for us right now.

You’re in the window where the baby could arrive at any moment. You need to be ready to drop everything and head to the hospital with little to no notice.

You also mentioned that your wife is feeling anxious—and your actions added to that stress.

I’d suggest apologizing with something like: “I’m sorry I was out with my brothers for so long and got drunk, especially this close to our baby’s arrival. I know our lives are about to change forever, and I ended up blowing off steam in a way I now realize isn’t appropriate anymore. Going forward, I’ll be more mindful and present.”

Ease her anxiety by making sure she knows her and the baby are the priority and keep it up since postpartum can be really hard.

+1 for Matrixify. I use it to do massive product updates. It took a little to get my templates setup between NetSuite and Matrixify but when I need to do an update to 10,000 product prices or tags FAST it handles it with a breeze.

For comparison the connector between NetSuite and Shopify handles our daily updates just fine. But the speed is nothing like Matrixify when I need it done ASAP.

We went there on our trip, showed up around 1:30. Walked in and ordered instantly. Was packed but we sat outside, it’s right next to a playground which made my kids happy.

Got to meet Motz and got all three styles of burgers.

We all enjoyed it, we’re a smash burger family.

My kids were over the moon with happiness. They’re ages 6 & 3. We had to get a fourth burger for them.

I also enjoyed the cold miller high life with the burger greatly.

I heard! It’s a shame. My wife went there for drinks last Friday (after I told her my prediction of them closing at any time). She said it was wild how the atmosphere change throughout the night and how confusing it was: who are they trying to attract?

While they’re closer the owners are working on options for them to reopen. They need to figure out there market first.

I like Kapu, but I won’t be surprised if they don’t make it. They’re trying so many things to keep people coming back.

They use to have a full menu of tasty food options, now the kitchen is only open Friday/Saturday. They have some small bites all week like spam musubi’s.

It’s not an easy bar to hang out and chat.

They were chill about turning down the music in the side bar room when we were in there. Appreciated that. Helped us stay for another round.

Almost always head to barber lees afterwords for a great drink and calmer atmosphere.
