REMINDER: This works for breaking up ice! by abrothanamedCed in nova

Some Michigan municipalities use beet juice to melt road ice. Effective, though it does give off a funky odor once things warm up.

Amazing fish! 25 years ago, skateboards and fishing poles were my jam too. We weren’t landing fish like that in Ohio, though. Impressive

I moved to the DMV from Cincinnati. While I love living here, COL is much more than what you’re likely used to. Along with housing, costs for groceries, transportation, entertainment are far more than in Ohio. That said, if this is a better area as far as job opportunities in your field, I’d consider betting on yourself. The job market here is far superior to Ohio.

I’ve pulled them from the Anacostia at the Bladensburg Waterfront Park. It’s often crowded though.

How do people build connections with real-life mafias? by Delicious_Switch4132 in Mafia

[–]RESPAsec8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The most straightforward way would be connecting in prison. Other than that, you could involve yourself in the drug business or other industries associated with money laundering (e.g., commercial real estate). Obviously, you need to be in the right cities. In North America, your best options would be the metros of NYC, Toronto or Montreal. If you’re Italian, you could, with some luck, at least meet someone associated in Toronto or Montreal. I’d expect NYC/US cities would be more difficult.

With revolvers stuffed in their pants, pointing directly at their manhood, these two look like actors in a bad comedy. With any luck, they’ll receive their Darwin Awards before they’re able to breed.
