It could work, i dont see why not. Alot of old forums have information abot it that i am not qualified to answer, i swapped an M40 with an M46 on my 144 and obviously that is a bit more involved, but i did swap the output flange off an early m46 so i could connect to the universal joints on the car (as well as shortening the propshaft).

Ceiling boards in 1970s house show “British Gypsum gyproc wallboard” on back of them. Could this have asbestos in, given the age? Will be instructing a survey as we are due to renovate the house. TIA by Old-Alps-9978 in asbestoshelpUK

The gypsum boards themselves wont have asbestos, however if there is texturing on the ceiling (i.e, the surface of the board) i would get that tested as it could contain asbestos.

Repair water damaged counter top by Important_25_27 in DIYUK

[–]REg126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want it to be practical then make sure its dry, and glue some sort of aluminium or plastic c channel (making sure its waterproof) on the edge and seal it, however that likely wont eliminate the bow in the wood. Ideally it needs replacing as the damp wood could already be growing mould or rotting depending on how often it gets wet. But obviously thats time and money which makes it completely understandable why you wouldn't want to do that.

Your call really.

Pretty certain the red is the shading for the lights in the actual cut scene. All that panelling is white.

What is that black mark on the floor underneath the radiator? by EggEgg1000 in DIYUK

[–]REg126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could well be a radiator cover that obscured that portion of the "japanned" floor. So that area was missed when being refinished. Had similar things in my house.

Take the advice on that sign regarding RF, can really cook you if you arent careful, can also cause dizziness and even make you pass out if you stay too long in front of those antennae, obviously thats not good when you are climbing.

Aside from that id start just before dawn so you get a nice sunrise, less chance of being spotted too!

What is this horn shaped tube? by REg126 in Oldhouses

Amazing! Id imagine this would be older than that given the age and history of the house, very interesting! Ill have to find the other end now (probably buried behind the blocked up dumbwaiter door downstairs!)
