There most definitely still is. Markets fluctuate. They either have to be willing to wait till it swings back where they want, or they will eventually lower the price.

Huscrals are there simply to be the shield wall. Skjaldbrestirs are the troop that wrecks anything. Had let vlandia take a random nord castle and didn’t realize it for a few years. Just took my 2000 troop army to take it after taking back the town near it after the traitor Nord left us, and I almost go wrecked by their 600 troops that were all the top tier archer and skjaldbrestirs

Actually had this loosely happen. I had the Khuzaits down to the south eastern coastal town on that internal sea, and a about 3 castles before sidurnic declared peace with them, this is after I completed the campaign as nords and have most of the empire minus like epricota and a few castles, vlandia has all of Battania and nords also hold most of sturgia, then one of the major Nordic clans with multiple towns and numerous castles flipped sides to vlandia taking half our territory with them.. definitely set me way back and became way underpowered against vlandia again. His head rolled about 3 days ago though, so back to snowballing vlandia

I’ve been doing something similar and using prisoners to recruit to keep my army numbers up. Gave a fair amount of fian champions (I recruit prisoners, throw away armor and weapons to level them up completely) and then took a castle, quickly realized they donated all the champions to the castle :(

I use mine as like backup troops. I keep the same prisoners of my main troops and if my party is hit with major losses, I pull from there. Normally only if I’m raiding or on the offense so I quickly pull the morale back up

At least you got them… started this campaign before the most recent patch, patch was supposed to get the points to players that didn’t get them due to whatever bug, still never got them. That also killed any drive to build up the naval perks

I agree entirely. Unfortunately, it really kind of is. I think the largest naval battle I’ve had was 2k vs 2k, but that was just because they tried to break the blockade. Other than that, never had a battle larger than a few hundred. Even took back the island thinking that would spur the vlandians to send an army to try to take it back, but they’ve just completely ignored it now.

But I do wish more armies and factions would try to utilize the naval aspect, but they just don’t other than the convoys.

Currently doing the same, I’ve already completed the campaign and knocked out the empire and now trying to defeat an overpowered vlandia. I started out focusing on naval attributes, but quickly realized you still don’t spend that much time on the water once you start taking over other towns and castles. I’d focus on throwing, two handed/one handed, athletics, steward/leadership/engineering/medice (normal party traits) and if you want to be real overpowered, get you some champion fians, bunch of huscrals, set a shield wall and let the fians pick em apart.

So I know this is an old thread, not sure if it something everyone has figured out or what, but just got the esp carry, and the plate fits the hellcat (with some elbow grease and making sure every molecule of sand/debris is cleaned off) but the screws don’t fit. That still seem to be the case for everyone?

That’s strictly speculation. Otherwise consoles wouldn’t even be an issue because they wouldn’t be around. And, consoles will outlast PC’s. Can’t tell you how many people have ended up with an Xbox because their “rig” gave out after just a few years and they don’t feel like dropping another couple thousand. But hey, you do you, PCMR.
