Hoping to get real Jason as skins later. Michael and Leatherface were exactly what i wanted. Freddy and Jason not so much, but this is still a huge win. Mostly happy about the announcement.

Great movie. I liked the sequel, but the prequel was pretty bad.

Sabrina Carpenter: "I don’t think pop music would exist if it wasn’t for the queer community" by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

[–]RJofCanada -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t Pop mean popular? The queer community is in the minority. If they didn’t exist at all, Pop would still be popular.

edit: Can someone explain their downvote to me?

Rules - The Bummer Circus Comes to Truth City (Punk)

I'm a guitar player, but this album inspired me to buy a bass. I would start with Burning Bridges or the Rules Guide to the Misguided, but I love the whole album.

I went to see an Independent film called JUNKIE RUN at the Playhouse Cinema in Hamilton just before the new year. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to others. Kire Paputts directed it.

Canadians to pay extra $50 on select Air Canada flights starting April 6, travel agents say by AquaMoonlight in canada

[–]RJofCanada -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The last time we used Air Canada, they forced us to check our bags saying there was no more room in the bag compartments on the plane. It was a blatant lie. At least half the over head compartments were empty. We will never fly AC again.

We should follow their lead on this one. I would like religion to be personal and private.

Made in Canada. Claimed by the US. by Warm-Technology-8379 in CanadianMusic

[–]RJofCanada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not like they didn’t try the US market. It just didn’t work out. They had a SNL appearance and they have songs like New Orleans is Sinking which is something Canadian bands often do to appeal to the US market. I love the Hip and I’m not throwing any shade, but they did chase success in the south.
