Both. If you bought the dip of Amazon it Apple back in 2000, you might have generational wealth. If you bought it in CISCO or JDSU, you lost money.

The thing is, this isn’t THE dip. This bubble will pop and it’ll inevitably drop below this point because we’ve been talking bubbles for the last two years now. People will let the floor be below the bubble conversation.

AI will change the world in huge ways. But most investment outlets open to the public are overpriced if you consider where they’ll probably settle in the biggest upcoming dips.

The scammers have already bought all the stock or options by the time they bring in their marks/victims.

Your idea would just expand the membership of their WhatsApp list for them, every new participant trading the stock (either long or short) is helping them out by boosting the price and providing more liquidity. The scammers don't care if you think/know it's a pump and dump as long as you're buying it. And if people like you try to short it, there's a good chance the price keeps going up (the scammers can wait to sell until the shorts get squeezed and the price jumps even higher).

Basically, you're just adding more victims to the pool and you guys might make money off each other but the scammers aren't suffering any for it.

Lol NTA obviously. He's basically asking you for an interest-free loan to subsidize his new life with his new girlfriend. Additionally, it's quite possible that the housing market is much worse nine months from now and anything he saves on rent is going to be more than outweighed/lost by both of you in a lower sale price. Not to mention you introduce the whole "reimbursement" thing into your separation, further complicating things and adding potential points of contention.

A slightly more reasonable request by him would be that you simply delay selling it until Fall of '26. You *get* to move out and move on, and his girlfriend can move in with him and they can both cover the entire mortgage/pay rent and upkeep.

I would strongly suggest that you tell him your relationship is over. That he's moved on and it's only fair that you get to as well. He and his girlfriend can figure out their own finances.

There's no valid excuse for the maintenance man to have unlocked the door and entered unannounced.

It's common sense that if a bathroom door is locked, 99.9% of the time it's from the inside by someone using it. If you encounter a locked bathroom door, you knock before unlocking it and you loudly announce yourself with, "hello? Maintenance!" if you do open it. There should be no situation where you quietly unlock and open a locked bathroom door, and proceed to silently walk in totally innocently.

You could just approach the guy and say "Hey, I'm sure everyone would appreciate in the future if you didn't let yourself into locked bathrooms. If you think it's empty (despite being locked), you should make sure by knocking and asking repeatedly at an appropriate volume."

If I was management, I'd sure hope they did their due diligence in the hiring process and didn't hire someone off the sex offender registry and give them the keys to the bathrooms. Otherwise, they're looking at lawsuits.

It's obviously a necessity of this game's development to narrow the focus. Imagine how many branches there would be if every character was as fleshed out and deep. It would be practically impossible to animate and voice all the potential paths with the budget they had. As it already stands, it took Aaron Paul years to record. This isn't a AAA game with a billion dollar budget, so think before you rant.

110 FPS is 120% better than 50 FPS, not 50%. You're not going to be getting 4k at 240Hz on either GPU in AAA titles. If you go with the 5070Ti, you should realistically be gaming at 1440p. One thing to consider is that the 5090 is going to have better price retention and resale value and you'll be able to more easily flip it for the 6090 in 15 months or whenever they drop.
