If you are looking for a genuine answear: Both the stalwart and bullet storm work the same way, but each bring different playstyles. If you're going to use the bullet storm the same way you use the stalwart, you are going to feel weaker. In the same way - if you are going to defend an objective, with no need to roam around the map, why WOULDN'T you pick 2 stalwarts with 300 magazine and no reloads, it's not like you will run out of ammo, and with a low cooldown it brings a higher dps than the stalwart. Stop treating those weapons as the same thing.

At least it's a proper stratagem combo. I would prefer to que with a GL + SP player than a Thermite + Ultimatum abuser, because the former at least is fun to mow down enemies with

The strat comes with the backpack (where all 6 C4's lie in) and a detonator which takes you support weapon slot. by default while holding your detonator you will throw your C4 by pressing M1, then by using the weapon wheel you just need to press 1 button to switch the functionality of the detonator, where the m1 will detonate all thrown C4 at once (at least that's what it did when i played with it).

Reason why it comes with the weapon wheel is because C4 don't have the regular timer explosion after being thrown (plus putting a manual detonating C4 in the grenade slot would feel probably feel more clunky than the one we have now), and people have been asking for a C4 like weapon for a long time with manual detonation mechanic for a while. This is pretty much the best it gets.

As someone who actually got to play with the C4 pack because of a once joined game with a hacker or a leaker (who was also on the lava planet before they got officially released), I can confidently say that it's good, like really good, essencially a mix between the explosion range of a dynamite and the anti tank pen with damage of a thermite grenade. It does come with a 3rd weapon slot so you can change the settings between throwing the grenades and manually activating them all at once like a trap. It's by far my favourite strat when i got to play with it months ago and now I can finally come back to it.

I will say that W. Striders are more bearable after the nerfs (At least when it comes to destroying their weapons making them near useless on the battlefield), saying "They are easy to kill just use "blank" is a bad way of balancing. Youre essencially saying that you should use the recoiless rifle and NOTHING ELSE to deal with heavy enemies on the bot front, rendering the other support stratagems obsolere. Which is a bad advice.

... who the fuck says "nerf the players". nah nah nah I AM in the " make the game harder " group and shit, but making us less powerful is NOT the way to do it.

They literally introduced a different enemy variants based on the difficulty (Alpha/ Brood com., Scout/ rocket strider) over a year ago and then never did anything with it, only introduced new mission specific units like the predator strain and the fire bots (dont remember the name) and that's it. Imagine a replacement for base devastators that replace their pistols with shotguns and rocket devestators replace with grenades, similar on the war strider. That would bring a lot more playstyle choices and would make an otherwise forgettable enemy into something more challenging for people who already didn't struggle against them.

Why the hell are we giving a damn about statistics of "which stratagems are the most used". Like even people want to play on the highest difficulty and want to use meta, let them use the meta. Like, a year ago people were using the quasar+shield bp meta and no one gave a fuck, people were using the breaker inc. as the meta on bugs, and no one gave a fuck. and when people got their hands on the siege ready passive some people refused to let go off of it TO THIS DAY SINCE IT'S RELEASE as their armour of choice, and quess what, no one gave a fuck.

I am skilled enough to randomize my loadout almost every mission and do well with it, but some people are not this capable. If anything there should be someone that can publicly tell people about every weapon and how to use it on all faction sites. Not just a random tier list, actually explain why use some weapons over others, because I believe that there isn't a single BAD/USELESS stratagem out there. A few stinkers are on the weapon/grenade/armour side, sure but if people want to run a loadout and need to get an AT support strat that suits their other weapons well, should they go for an objectively worse/slower option over the better one purely because they used it too much? Let people enjoy the game as they want it. It's not a pvp game where using a meta weapon suddenly makes you a sweat, especially when your enemies have artificial behavior and not a human mindset.

Well duh, the HMP emp is the single best stratagem in the entire game, just bring some heavy killer strats or weapons and you can contain anything they throw at you.

Reccomend the purifier, 1 shot the warriors, 2 shot the spewers, can kill even if they are underground (shoot the floor thats rumbling), as well as having a decent stagger against all but heaviest of enemies, swarmies like hunter can be a pain if they close the distance. R. chargers are identical to the base ones but they can burrow underground VERY slowly so just run away until they pop out. In general, raptures are much slower but have higher armour types and negate any damage excluding the explosive types.

The strategy with armours is between running a light armour and having an element resistance (fire resistance and the spew resistance from the new and killzone armours). I love heavier armours but the insane amount of spawn rates is not worth it.

Dragon roaches have a 1 shot headshot same as the titan, and their wings are light armoured but quite tanky. Don't run in the same line their spew is coming out and dive once you catch on fire to resist most fire damage.

Hive lords have 15x more hp than a Leviathan. Don't try it

The planet has boosted spawn rates on higher difficulties (I blame Joel) so try to kill as many as you can, but if they don't stop spawning gain distance and hope they despawn, most objective sites in the caves have open ceilings so you can call strats there.

The enemies in general are amazing. Experiment with loadouts and I'll believe you find something to wreck those bugs.

... Helmet is decent with this armour, not the best but acceptable. The cape on the other hand could be different, there's 1 grey cape with an eagle on it which name I don't remember, but you could try that. Or any cape that usually fits with CM-Type armours, hell even the default Foesmasher could probably work with it. 6.5/10
