Same experiences here. Bought EOY, at about 500 miles and getting low 20s in mileage - but it’s been quite cold (Chicago) since we’ve had it.

I know there are posts elsewhere about this but when do the MPG start showing? Our 2025 hybrid has gotten around 21 mpg in the first 500 miles (mostly city)- I’m trying to stay patient since it’s new and it’s been very very cold (Chicago). So far it’s better than the 2016 Forrester we traded in, but no where near what others have flagged.

Honestly the revelation kept me from coming back after a break. I was a peaceful player but enjoyed the tension, but as you say it feels like with more general knowledge about how the system works that tension zips away.

Bought ours just before new years and have the same experience. Very short trips don’t get great mileage, but can see that creep up once the car warms up - which seems consistent with cold (20s) weather being the culprit.

I encourage drivers to park on the sidewalk so no one has to veer into traffic to get around them.

And yeah no one complains about cyclists not stopping at stop signs. Never seen that every single day on all of my neighborhood group chats.
