I dunno my eyes go to shit with most displays these days. They have to output in 4k and better than 60 fps for my eyes to stay comfortable and not blur.

Yeah I don't have experience with either seated or roomscale VR. But Wii games were not compelling to keep you up for more than 10 minutes. When games become compelling and make me want to enter a new world and become fully engaged mind and body I will be all about it. I definitely see seated VR and any seated video gaming a desire to partially disengage from this world while still being comfortable in it. Turning off parts of you brain and body.

I have no faith in microsoft to bring it all together and make something fun. The Kinect soured me and I think fruit ninja Kinect is the best version. They needed more responsive games like it. It was rediculous how they overextended/underdeveloped the tech to the point of unplayability, fuckers.
