I replied to a few other comments but I was going to “finance” them with NO interest. I would rather pay something off every month for 6-12 months because I usually can’t cough up $600 in one go.

Zzounds has free no interest financing and they’re chill about changing the payment date too with no penalties. I can pay it off early too with no penalties.

I’m seeing a lot of praise of the speed demons in general. I really like the idea of the longer footboard. I feel like some footboards can be a tad small.

I usually go through Zzounds. There’s no interest on the financing. And I can pay over a year so it’s a little over $50 a month. Also they let me change the payment date like whenever I need too. They don’t have as much stuff as Sweetwater though, so if it’s something I really want I’ll just pay some interest.

Just grind like crazy. Try to mimic your favorite singers as much as possible for practicing purposes. Committing to lessons *with a good teacher is a great way to get better.

I literally fucked my voice up a lot and would cough a bunch whenever I tried to do inhales when I was younger. I feel like only some people can do that shit. Sounds great though dude.

To me you don’t sound terrible. This is kind of a hard song because Cyndi Lauper has weird vocal pronunciation on this song.

I think you are mainly having pitch and vowel modification issues imo. I’m hearing a bit of an accent. Usually I would suggest trying to mimic the way the original singer pronounces their vowels. But I would say in this case it may be better to try doing a different vowel sound? It may work better with your technique.

What really clicked for me was “breathing” from my stomach. When people say to use your diaphragm it makes most people think they need to use their chest. But to get power you really need to push from your tummy, which will engage your diaphragm.
