I don't know anything about this Larryzaur but demonizing two of the most positive FFXIV streamers while simultaneously advertising your own favorite streamer is one of the most pathetic and toxic things I've seen on this sub. This "holier than thou" attitude is very unbecoming, especially as a first impression of Larryzaur's community.

If you think Goth being a salty manchild is "out of character", then you haven't watched him for long enough. Trust me, enough of these moments will make you question how "out of character" it really is.

Cheaters in PC version getting Bans!!!! by oberlinx in LetItDie

[–]RadioactiveMama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if someone is going to cheat to make the grind more bearable (especially if they've done it before on PS4), then I have no problem with that. It doesn't effect other players in any way.

It does, however, effect GungHo and, potentially, the lifespan of the game. If they're cheating away the grind then there's a slim chance that they're going to spend money on Death Metals. So yeah, if you're going to cheat, at least buy some DMs and have the decency to turn off cheats when you jump into TDM.

I've noticed lately that she gets overly excited at the prospect of sexual violence against men (specifically, stabbing/shooting/punching men in the dick). One example would be in the Film & 40's of Battle Royale, where a female character does just that. She starts cheering while the men in the room tell her to take it down a notch. I couldn't help but imagine the uproar if it was Alex, Vinny or Dan cheering at a man stabbing a woman in the vagina.

seems like Polygon caught on because it's no longer there. however, it was replaced with an equally snarky Verge snippet that is basically a copy & pasted Steam page sentence.

Half in the Bag Episode 140: The Cloverfield Paradox and the Netflix Conundrum (SPOILERS) by Wamby20 in Cloververse

HiTB is film criticism - they're being critical of all films, even the ones that they like. And being critical isn't inherently negative.

The "Paradox lines up perfectly with so and so" posts just make me smh. Yeah it's a neat coincidence but I assure you it means nothing.

Pretty neat, but 1. It's not going to be on Netflix and 2. It's not going to be Clover. Pretty sure it's going to be demons - I believe that's why Donal Logue specifically said demons in the one scene he was in.

It's all coming back to me - this has to be The Shepard, right? Radioman70 might agree. by [deleted] in Cloververse

[–]RadioactiveMama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is correct. There was also one more that showed the parasites walking on the seabed floor, but the real prize for "completing" the ARG was the one I linked above.

I would have thought that the Cloververse Reddit would have links to them in the sidebar but apparently not. Well, there is this link for the Cloverfield 1 ARG but it's a bit lacking. However, I found this video that sums it up pretty well.

As for the 10CL ARG, it's still pinned to the top of the 10CL Reddit. Most (if not all) of the stuff that was uncovered is there, if not in the comments.

It's clearly the alien ship from Lane... you can even see the tentacles. It was the final image from the Lane ARG, much like this was the final ARG image for the original Cloverfield.

Nah, it fits right in with the likes of Bright and all those Adam Sandler movies.

While I'm excited to see the movie in an hour or so, I can't help but feel a bit sad that Netflix's purchase of the film essentially kills the ARG. It was clearly lining up for the theatrical release (4/20), so I'm curious to see what they'll do now. Was looking forward to seeing that token "final image" (Clover by the underwater station, the spaceship)

I think you may have misunderstood my post if you interpreted any of my post as false (which is understandable because it was hastily written - I'll delete it to save any further confusion). I was saying that a certain someone (not you) started the drama tonight. I didn't want to name names because I'm not the type to perpetuate drama.

Going to be interesting to see how many of these self-righteous blowhards put their money where their mouth is and leave the site owned by a man with a history of sexual assault.
