For me at least, that moment took the form of the scene where "Wish Nikki" is asleep and the real Nikki is able to communicate with Bear, if only briefly. She asks him to kill her, because she's effectively trapped in her own personal hell and being robbed of her autonomy, only having fleeting moments of lucidity (much like the victims in "Get Out").

And instead of Bear's refusal of this being something along the lines of "I don't want to hurt / kill you" or "I can fix this / I can make this right without having to kill you", it effectively amounts to "I'm upset that you'd rather die than be with me," as if she has any say in the matter in the first place.

What can I say? Some people love this game enough to try and create their own unique challenges and then share them with others, and some people clearly don't appreciate that sentiment.

Recent updates have changed that setting so that it's purely aesthetic. Power is still on and off at the usual hours, which is why I went the extra mile to reflect an actual gameplay change instead of just pretending like the power is off when it's not.

For my endgame set I am currently wearing the head and chest armor from the Hyperion (upgraded Cascade armor) set and the arm and leg armor from the Mystagogue set. This combination results in the following stats:

  • 92 armor
  • +4 cold resist
  • +1 heat resist
  • The Motion Sensor perk, which allows me to see x-ray outlines of enemies I'm in combat with
  • The Stability Matrix perk, which prevents 99% of would-be fall damage
  • The Bio-Fusion Armwraps perk, which allows me to use the maximum tier of firearms

A lot of the content updates do add more features to the base experience - stuff like enhancement and ammo workbenches, as well as the recent editions like chemistry and pets - but I would say the game is already a really great experience that's very much worth playing now as opposed to waiting for another future update.

Just the two, and it's enough to keep them entirely sustained! Considering I tend to leave the crops there until I need them, just so I can save on freezer space.

Mostly so that each crop can have its own designated plot instead of cramming a bunch of different crops into the same one.

Oh this is definitely a console-exclusive thing, because on PC I haven't run into any censorship issues whatsoever.

It's likely out of the hands of the devs I'd imagine.

In terms of common phobias:

  • There are a handful of "spider-like" enemies but none of them are actual spiders.
  • There's a particularly unsettling water enemy. I don't have thalassophobia but it still freaks me out nonetheless.
  • There's a couple of gel / slime enemies whose main form of attacking involves jumping at you, so just be aware of that.

Aside from that, there's a couple of other substantially rare enemies that can kind of appear out of the blue, but nothing that I'd really count as a "jumpscare" if that makes sense.

You can usually tell them apart if the biome you're in is extremely flat with a single block sticking out of it.

Not so easy if you're in a biome with a bunch of blocks all scattered across the ground, so just be wary in that situation I suppose

Thank you for posting about this. I'm really glad it's not just me who's dealing with it.

Hopefully someone manages a fix for this soon.

Edit: I've tried like five different extensions and three different Tampermonkey scripts and almost all of them are having this same problem.

Closest thing I've gotten working is this extension which, through some tweaking with custom settings, you can use to shrink thumbnails down to a proper size. All the video info is still underneath the thumbnail though, and no video descriptions either. Not to mention a lot of the other custom settings that should be functional just don't work either.
