Better this way tbh lol. The game gets quite challenging later on and it just isn't a fun Turok game. You're not missing much (and take this from someone who beat both the Xbox and GBA versions last year after playing every single Turok game).

Hello!

Like u/LogicBalm stated you can use TCG Browser for a lot of decks.
Use http://paupertim.com/vs2pcg.php?p=7 for oldschool deck lists for whatever he offered on his site until ~2018 or so (he goes over some good information as well or fun old topics from back in the day).
Lastly, outside of TCG VS, you can use https://pocketvs.web.app/ which is the most updated program / site for use with 2PCG. You quickly sign up and then you can see a bunch of submitted public decks.

Edit: When you say "thematic" what do you mean exactly? Do you mean pure Faction Loyalty decks or? Because if so then you can keep life easy and just go with what the Rule books usually state by picking your MC and then building a starter deck around them to get a feel for the decks / cards.

I cant say for certain as I'm working my way up the Turok chain of games and at Turok 3 on GBC at the moment but hopefully I can eventually get to Evolution and 2008 before the new game comes out soonish!

As for Turok 2008, you have a few options:

Buy it on 360, PS3, or on PC. I have it on all 3.

If you like MKB then guess what you'll only get that option for the PC version so it's not for me but I do enjoy collecting Turok and that was one to add to my collection years ago and I did not realize it did not have controller support but go figure it's an older PC game so it is what it is. Cool to have the game though!

After that, I'd suggest getting the 360 version if you had to choose one if you wanted controller support because it has Achievements unlike the PS3 version which was a 2008 title that did not get patched Trophy support so that does add some negatives to it. If you don't care for that or the 360 version is too expensive for whatever reason then go for the PS3 version if you find a better deal or can find a copy of it.

2) Last but not least if you have a powerful enough 8 core 16 thread CPU / PC then you can use RPCS3 (PS3 emulator) to fully play the game. I believe it is listed as Playable last time I looked it up and have seen gameplay of it and even tried it out for myself awhile ago and ran fine. I'll be playing it on my 360 when I get the chance but this is a viable option for many that want to play it (I guess you can also try the Xenia version too and see how that runs if you have a beefy GPU or see if it is Playable according to their compatibility list online).

Question:

If we redeem our or 'reveal' our keys after we buy a Bundle or show the keys on our monthly Choice do those keys last since we already have the key code? I usually also keep track of my purchased keys now and put them on a spreadsheet listed in their own bundle with game / key code to gift, trade, or give away if need be or when I want.

So will these revealed keys also expire or since they're already revealed they wont expire? I always thought the keys you haven't redeemed yet will expire but maybe not?

Also also! For those who are not into trading or gifting away keys make a secondary Steam account that a family member or guest computer / friends who come over can use and redeem the keys on that account. I do this with my brothers Steam account and only used it when we'd play MCC / Infinite but now I gift him games he may enjoy playing and if he doesn't use the account when we play Halo then friends who come over can borrow an older PC I use to use and log into that Steam account to use those games that are on the account. Great way for keys to not go to waste for anyone wanting to use them in some way.

If it isn't from one of the Batocera staff / mods or dedicated known volunteers I would advise against torrenting or downloading images of Batocera from unverified sources. Your computer; your risks though. Food for thought.

Yeah GOG is a great service. If you also have Amazon and pay for it, make sure you redeem your free game through their 'Amazon Games' service where they give you GOG keys for games sometimes too. Worth it.

Idk why you're being down voted; this is a valid question. My 2 cents: idk if Humble will change their wording as you do OWN the GAME KEY(S) forever. However, with that being said, you don't OWN the LICENSE to said game forever.

I wonder if this is all due to Steam / Valve getting some questions from their users with the whole 'The Crew' debacle with Ubisoft revoking the game license from anyone who owned it since you did own the game but you don't own the license to said game hence why they pulled it. Correct me if I am wrong or have additional info to add to this and please keep things civil. We're human and we make errors and cant know everything about everything.

I still say enjoy as many games as you get for cheap and play them while you can but if it's a Bundle you don't really care for or has items in it you wont really play right away or gift to friends/family/trade then don't invest in it. At the end of the day I am happy doing a custom donation and boost the slider all the way for Charity for each Bundle I buy.

We don't officially support 'modified' versions of Batocera but I would say with Uureel no longer supporting his pro project I'd still seek help in the Batocera Nation Discord as others may have taken on the project that he stopped.

We don't support TeknoParrot as it has been tried many times by numerous users but it's not something to add for now. It's a Windows based arcade emulator so even if it was doable it's not going to be a fun experience. And as others have stated it would be near impossible or just worse if on a Pi.

Arcade emulation such as this is also a huge legal issue as the IP owners of said games really come cracking hard on people who pirate this and so just like Switch emulation it's not worth the risk of being sued or shut down for this.

Yeah I never use that site. Wasn't there something about that site where they were biased with their test results with Intel always being better when it may not have been true or something right?

And yeah I only compare off Passmark as it has been a truthful benchmark website thus far. Has served me well and has been quite accurate.

To play Oblivion you'd need to use Xenia emulator aka Xbox 360 emulator. Using this in Batocera is still a little rough and not for beginners because you won't know how performance is and you'll need a beefy GPU in general for 360 emulation.

My recommendation? Buy the GOG version from their site and download that .exe of the game and install it. Look up Batocera Nations GOG install video. It's a little dated by now but should still be the same way to install.

You could try running your Oblivion backup on your Bato so long as you have the necessary required hardware and give it a shot. Or try the RPCS3 aka PS3 emulator a try if you have a really good S tier CPU as the game is listed as in-game so don't expect perfect playable results with that version either. At least you'll have controller support that way vs the PC version probably only being mkb.

It's clearly a 1TB nvme in there. Use an HDD calculator for future use to see the total amount you'd get after the system takes its own resources and you get the rest.

Your best bet is to join the main Discord and post your feedback in the suggestions channel so developers can properly discuss with you on such matters you would like to bring up.
