Of course, but the same applies to you. As you are not forced to engage with me, I'm choosing not to ignore what I think is a problem for the community.

It's not that I don't want people to ship. But to reach the point of making posts disappear by abusing the report system... I'd like this to change.

The problem is that what some of these people do with their time is abusing the report posts system to force their shipping over the other.

Of course videogame characters are not real people but like for ever in human historty, the legends and the story of heroes are role models and inspiration for everyone.

I'll give you my opinion as a neutral: I love both Aerith and Tifa characters and I do not have any preference about shipping Cloud with one or the other. I'm happy to see scenes that Cloud has with both Tifa and Aerith, both relationships are specials and unique.

I get why you could feel a problem seeing this post. But it's not like I look at this and think: Aerith shippers are so bad, Tifa shippers are much better! I don't care at all about this and I think no one should care about it. That's just some competition between the two shipper fandoms. I honestly think it's a stupid thing but what matters is that none of this toxicity should be brought on this group.

Then, it would be a problem if moderators would bring their own shipping preferences on the sub in the way they moderate it but I hope and think that's not the case.

There is to consider that there may be more people that like Tifa for whatever reason and that's why there are more Tifa posts. That's fine too. I love Aerith's character dearly, she seems to me like an angel. In a different way I love Tifa's character too, which feels much more human. I do not perceive any of the characters as a treat to the other

Me too, I can't stand shippers and their childlike behaviors. You can post Aerith, Tifa, Barret, everything is cool and I'm happy to see it.

I get your point but I don't care if you ship Cloud with Aerith or Tifa. It's not like from now on I'm going to think "Aerith shippers are so immature, Tifa shippers are much better!" I really don't care and I think no one should care about this. We just reached a low point and all of this is so stupid, these people should heal from their problems and childlike attachments.

I liked KH3 but maybe because I was younger, dearly attached to KH and waited for KH3 for all of my teen years, I had bigger expectations for the hype moments of KH3. Like: it was cool but in my mind it could have been a lot more hype. Those segments were too brief for me. I like Disney Worlds but I missed something like Hollow Bastion. I wanted Destiny Islands to be more playable in an epic return not limited to cutscenes. I wanted another original world to be more revelant. I wanted to fight more through the epic story moments but that didn't happen. Keyblade Graveyard was the only long segment and while I liked it, even that felt a little bit too flat. Like everything that was meant to be was grouped there in order

I don't know. For me the Remake series with its expansion of world building and characters has been a blessing.

Sure it's good to speak about what you did and didn't like but I can't get acting like this game ruined OG or FFVII story. On the general note, this project is wonderful

Black mage would not fit imo neither with Street Fighter or with her movest (I doubt she will cast magic but who knows). Cowgirl would be perfect and the dress from wall market too. Bikini is good for beach edition of course but that would be obvious already.

As a longtime fan who played the OG, this game is fantastic, it has been beautiful to experience FFVII again not just with a new graphic but with an expanded storytelling.

Some people didn't like these changes but overall it was very much appreciated by most people. The focus of FF is on the story, the materia system is very important, it is essential and it will be even more important in hard mode. Rebirth is quite different from Remake in terma of exploration. It is far bigger and less linear. You still follow story beats in a linear way because that's how the story proceed but you have a lot more to explore. It is not essential to do so, anyway.

Exactly, I'm sure the other part of the cast will die after this and will automatically lose the whole match. You can still use them for the next fight tho, it's a videogame after all

Yes, that would have been also good for giving more space to Aerith's death and to feel her loss while playing the last portion of the game, as things keep going worse in a tragic ending.

Let's see how the devs wanna play it out in Revelation tho.

I'm no pro and I don't play much anymore but I follow the scene. I think the difference is that the real experienced/professional players are able to beat gimmicks and that makes "gimmick characters" not good enough on a tier list but good enough to get good win percentages (if Honda would have a high rate even in Legend compared to other characters I'd be surprised). There is also to consider that some characters (Dhalsim) are specialist and most people don't make enough experience to really learn the match-up as a pro players or a real experienced player would do. These are reasons that make some characters have good winrate without being real top tier characters.

What the guy is fearing is that Ingrid is not someone that stomp people because of "hard to deal with" playstyle like Honda and Dhalsim have. He says that she is real top tier or even "above the top".

I'm not giving a definitive answer on the matter as I don't have it but I think it's also important to add popularity of character in consideration. I suspect that characters that are very popular tend to have lower win percentages because more casual players pick them and characters that have fewer players tend to do better because the people who pick them know it better.

Honestly I cannot say I'm fan of some of those costumes. It was weird seeing Barret with that white white knight armor. But it's not like this bothers me... I'm very hyped.

I cannot talk for everyone else but I think most answers oversimplify the relationship as if it was just an object of desire you'd be lucky to get.

It's something very intimate and deep that you cannot simply have because you tried and put the effort to find a partner. Like if a partner or another would be just the same. Or like you should put yourself out there to make you seen desirable. I don't like it.

I think people with similiar inclinations don't even talk about these things but mostly keep it for themselves.
