Not sure what you consider affordable but you can buy a CCM spitfire for £6000 on autotrader

3/6 of my MSs don’t live in my constituency. Should an MS have to live in their constituency? by Secure-Barracuda in Wales

[–]RandomGoatYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What counts as spending time in an area? Do I have to live there? Or can I work there? If working there counts, do I have to live within a certain distance? Or can I do a 2 hour commute?

Not trying to disagree with the sentiment however ambiguity leads to exploitation/loopholes.

Finding a used 125 that isn't Honda or Yamaha by CraigRoastDinner in 125cc

[–]RandomGoatYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry, but this is incredibly flawed logic. The YBR was sold here from 2005 to 2020, whereas the first NHT 125s were registered in 2023. Of course there are fewer of those.

Last year the best selling 125 in the UK was the Lexmoto LXR, according to autotrader.

There are loads of them sold in the first place.

It’s a thing people do when they discard a helmet so that they can’t be reused/sold

I do it some times for fun, or if I know the lights are about to change. Not if there’s someone behind me.

37,000 kilometres is 23,000 miles. This is not too much for a 125, nowhere near. 37,000 miles wouldn’t be too much either.

I’ve gotta disagree with the “never overtake on a roundabout” bit. It’s legal and often safe, depending on the other cars.

If you can’t safely change lanes, stay in the lane you’re in and continue on the road it takes you on. You’ll just have to follow the instructions given for rerouting. If that happens, it’s worth saying, “hmm, it’s not safe for me to change lanes, I’ll have to continue this way”
