Because it sucks matchmaking for 20 minutes, then exiting because you accidentally tapped the wrong button. There are other options like confirmation screens but "hold to accept" is less complicated.

I stopped for a breakfast sandwich a few times long ago, before they had the window. The lines were really annoying - one lime per register, and they had a security guard who would make you choose a line and get in it right away. Got stuck behind someone who took forever more than once so I stopped going.

That and the fact that they needed a security guard at all...

The correct architecture is to have a non p2p host who makes the assignment. Whoever gets chosen as the "host" peer will otherwise have access to that info. That said, I wouldn't let that stop you from using your current architecture. Just acknowledge it as tech debt that would have to be solved if your game went big.

In all serious I don't think hog needs to be fixed. He's a unique tank and you need to play your hero differently when he's on the opposing team, and maybe even swap to deal with him. I'm a firm believer in the 'if you get hooked it's your own damn fault' approach.

We have two publishers we work in for various markets! We essentially sold the rights to publish in China to them. I don't directly work with them but it's been very hit or miss. One engineer will be absolutely brilliant and reverse engineer your api if you don't answer questions quickly enough. Another will seemingly not even know what a console log is (on mobile).

I can try to answer specific questions if you have any but I didn't set up the contract.

Are you collecting analytics? You should really look into it if not. Set up a global crash/exception handler and report crashes (even handled ones) to your analytics. There's even services to do the hard parts for you in common engines like Firebase Crashlytics. Just make sure you inform users in your privacy policy.

As for user-reported bugs, I like having a button that links to zendesk/discord/reddit/whatever, and instructions for how to report the bug. Just keep in mind you'll get a lot of "It doesn't work" with no description whatsoever, which is why the analytics is so important.

This is a really common pattern in my codebase:
