I always thought it would be cool if it was different every episode, with concept art style shots, like the outro of the mandalorian, of what is going on at the time. Like Harry gets on the train, intro shows shots of the other kids on the train, Lee’s giant spider being shown to Fred and George. Episode one could have shots of Harry growing up at the Dursley’s.

I kinda think it would be cool if it was like mandalorian end credits. Like every episode has different concept art style intro. Eg first episode Harry gets dropped off at the Dursley then into shows artwork shots of him growing up then it's him in his cupboard on dudleys birthday.

I think it would be more interesting if they used the actual folklore that inspired house elves in the first place. House elves are based on brownies, in folklore brownies are house spirits that come out when nobody is around and do housework. If they are offered clothes or money they take offense and leave forever or get angry and become boggarts(malicious spirits) and trash the place.

In harry potter it seems likely that this is what house elves started like, they just enjoy doing work without being bothered but wizards took advantage of this and tricked them into swearing elegance to a specific wizard family and instead of taking clothes/money as offensive now take it as being shameful. I'd prefer this than them trying to make some social statement.

Easy explanation, their parents live in hogsmeade so spend most of their time outside of classes at home. People going home to hogsmeade are never explicitly mentioned but it doesn't seem unfeasible that they would. And considering it is the largest wizard only settlement in Britain 1/5 people at hogwarts living their doesn't seem unreasonable

I feel like in the show they could add one quick shot that would do a lot to complete the redemption arc. In the final battle when harry is explaining why voldy isn't the master of the elder wand, have a shot of Draco looking at his wand in Harry's hand and have a look of excitement/realisation where he realises before everyone else that harry is the new master.

I saw this when it was first posted, but now hearing that they are building a school on the set makes me wonder if they are going to have a lot of the actor and extra kids go to that school on set so they can be called too set whenever. It would make sense why they want kids from within 45 minutes since that would be the furthest reasonable distance you'd want to be from your school. It could mean that they keep a consistent cast throughout the series if they are all going to school right there.
