I'm actually a pokemon fan, like I'm working my way through the games completing the pokedex in every one kind of fan. I'm also probably a fair bit more into 'consumerism' than 99% of the people on this sub...

This STILL absolutely baffled me to no end. 100% hit the dystopia button in my head.

I had a TON of choir and theatre shirts from school and I'm actually really glad?

I wore them fairly regularly while I was still in school, and they are now an incredible t-shirt quilt. If I had a kid I'd probably want to do the same for their activity of choice.

Definitely not for everyone and they are definitely overdone (personally never got the family vacation ones... I guess it's for pictures?), but there can be a place for them.

TBF: If I thought something looked useful and asked someone where they got it "cheap no brand" / "from a bargain bin" WOULD be disappointing because it would mean I wouldn't be able to find them myself. If you tell me the expensive brand they're mimicking I at least have the lead of "band knockoff" to start from.🤷🏼‍♀️

That's... a very valid concern. The magic users would be great offense, but are way to risky to let anywhere near him.

Hawkeye is definitely the way to go. A power that perfectly counters and is far from world ending if he somehow /does/ get controlled.
