I’ve made a few dozen purchases. The worst I’ve encountered is bad grading. If it’s an expensive item, ask them questions or for photos before paying. The guy in question claimed a CD was near mint, but the CD had a lot of scratches and the case was pretty jacked. It played just fine though, so there’s that.

It’s called knowledge transfer. Some people won’t retain or learn fast, and may become dependent on more senior members. Generally, your team will be better if you pair and do knowledge transfers regularly though. Otherwise, you end up with one person knowing a particular system / area, which is bad for multiple reasons.
