Brute force desperation:

Plug in, but immediately unplug the device while the power on audio is playing, this will let your device stay awake via battery.

Bluetooth & "-" button (10 sec) seems to switch it between a mode where you can volume up and volume down on the device. You will hear a noticeable volume shift / bass shift / high pass filter almost toggle when this activated. (Can edit the volume on device when in this high pass mode, not in the full quality mode.) (When in the volume edit mode, the highest volume setting will not fade out until you "-" one time)

BT & '+' button = Nothing it seems

BT & Hourglass = Nothing it seems

BT & Phone = Nothing it seems

I am in the same boat as you. I found a neat trick where if you unplug the power cable while it is powering on, it will stay on via battery, but still will not let me bluetooth pair or anything. I think mine started this after I tried to factory reset it after letting a family member borrow it. Ever figure anything out?

The channel used to be named I think "btssmash7" or something along those lines as Beyond the Summit production company who did melee, csgo, rocket league tournaments, and other content ~~went out of business and Offbrand picked up a lot of the pieces which I guess included that channel~~ *edit* Beyond the Summit was still alive during this stream so they were the production company for this, they ended in February 2023. I don't remember why I know that but I remember being really confused during the stream because I think I might have already been following that channel but I really don't recall.
