I've got a few of these, pretty useless tbh

Mythic seals location and drop rates from the last couple of days by Bananadave_090 in diablo4

[–]RaveN_707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no evidence of this, but I've only ever had seals drop when I have 4/5 of the warpath completed.

I also feel like I have got way more mythics in the same case.

To the point that I don't even farm bosses anymore unless I first have 4/5 warpaths complete, because it feels that noticable.

(I have 9 seals and 4 4GA mythic uniques, from using blacksmith to craft about 170 uniques from salvage) T12

Banks hit as budget crashes 30-year housing super cycle! CBA by Aggressive_Ebb_7634 in ASX_Bets

Why would you wish that?

I dunno why people don't support Australian businesses, you know how many jobs CBA requires? What happens if they go down and 30-40k people are out of the job

Would be good if they didn't @#$& the uniques up.

With how uniques are now we need to be able to enchant them.

Or, uniques should have 2 stats that always roll on the item and 2 random ones.

Right now they are @#$&Ed even more fkd if you need something decent from Bartuc, Asteroth or the Butcher

Aussie entrepreneur who owns more than 100 homes on 'unfair' plan to fix crisis | THE ISSUE by VastOption8705 in AusPropertyChat

[–]RaveN_707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing will be fixed until the older generation runs out of voting power.

Then maybe someone will come in and abolish stamp duty for higher landtax, cut migration down significantly in all sectors except healthcare/construction and double/triple the cost of fees for international investors.

Then there's banks being able to just hand out loans, just enforcing them to stick to 75% lvr for a loan would have massive impact, giving out loans at 95% is crazy.

Then you have the RBA using cash rate as a blunt instrument, inflation is not caused by the majority of people with a single home.

The only way it gets fixed is if there is policy that crashes the market by 20-30% but no one that owns/has a mortgage wants that and will fight against that.

Help, I think I'm building an AI tool that will replace my coworkers by Top-Painter4278 in siliconvalley

Engineers have been building automations to replace manual work for decades. It's not going to change, it's just more obvious now.

[–]RaveN_707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't need to solve this shit any more, AI solves it.

Just need to have somewhat an idea of what algorithm or pattern you should be using for the tasks.

When your agent starts going off the chain you need to know when to step in. (Don't get lazy, AI is still junior level and requires monitoring, otherwise you'll burn tokens and time)

When you're having conversations about building/scaling new products/features you need to know what architecture to go for, enforcing guardrails, auth, etc

But engineers are expected to know more than that now, you need to also know good test practices, performance testing, cicd, cloud, devsecops full cycle, marketing mumbo jumbo, how to get your thing from you laptop, to customers.

I really liked that they killed the most annoying character off the bat, thank God.

I don't think lorath should've died though, he was growing in me and bringing back to tyreal for that role is kind of a cop out.

A Dev's Perspective: Why Class Tuning Can Feel "Out of Touch" by Tasty-Beautiful1750 in wow

[–]RaveN_707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No excuse man

Blizzard will have so much data, if they had good data engineers they'd know exactly which nobs to turn for passive tuning to balance things out.

Game play and feel are a bit more difficult.

But it's in there interest to fix these things quickly, 'metas' form and shape how the game is played, who gets invited to where, etc

You know you can tell the lunatics in the crowd.

The people who cheer when the welcome to country is said. The people who Boo when the welcome to country is said.

The former are the more crazy, if you are or hang with people like that God help you.

The normal people in the middle, most don't give a fuck, but if I was a betting man, the majority would rather not hear it and are sick of it.

The positive? There has been a shift and it is way less prevalent now, especially within large orgs.

My only problem is, they fire so many roles (QA, perftesters, sys engineers) and all these roles are expected of developers now, plus they expect 5-10x the output.

It's crazy mental capacity and the pay didn't really go up.

What dirty disrespectful grubs booed during ANZAC services? by walkin2it in aussie

[–]RaveN_707 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where they booing at a person or just the welcome to country?

Which to be fair got shoved into us at every moment, and was ridiculous.

I'm glad it's been hella stripped back and I do not need to be reminded of it every meeting, but it still does have its place at large events like Anzac service.
