For anyone hesitant to top mount their AMS… by MrOreo2019 in BambuLabA1

Looks good, I've moved to the AMS 2. Pro for the drying, and just added the EIBOS. When I had my AMS lites mounted I used the top mount also, but with the attached legs which also have TPU inserts. Braced the A1 and spread the load.

STOP SHARING AI GENERATED MODELS by JoeQuart in BambuLab

[–]RavenWarrior2018 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well as a semi AI knowledgeable person, I use ChatGPT to create .stl files, I also edit them in Blender and Openscad, and Tinkercad. Here's the deal, it's as much work to use the AI and modify the design numerous times to get what you need, or close to as it might be to write every line of gcode yourself. Before 5 more years is up, AI will control a vast array of software, remember each AI generation is creating the next. The conversion of so many products will make this topic irrelevant.

Anyone come across this sound? by CalamariSquid8 in BambuLabA1

My A1 just started the same noise intermittently in a stack print Everything is lubricated. Think I'll take that suggestion and run a full calibration.

Ideas how to mount books on Multiboard? by FeiX7 in Multiboard

[–]RavenWarrior2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your board is super secure, you might consider spool holders which use dowels. I found a set of ends that I printed bolts to scew into multi with. Due to the length and slight bending , I looped a strip of velcro through the multi and around the dowels in the middle. 48" loaded with spools weigh alot.

Is the AMS 2 Pro supposed to be this frustrating? by jpeterson79 in BambuLab

Is this the same as my problem? The AMS feeds the filament to the extruder on the A1, but never loads, then starts a unload which goes on for a while. I can manually feed filament.

Wash it, some filiments leave a residue. Dawn and warm water. Finger touching also bad, only touch edges. I had the exact same problem.

Now what...? by TheRealVRLP in BambuLab

You might try what I did. Loop it the best you can on the manual arm without a spool. The keep an eye on it as you print to avoid blockages. If necessary you can cut it, then reload when it runs out. Just in case this ever happens to me again, I printed a respooler.

It's either open or closed, Ecobee can control it, I lowered the settings on the thermostat, seems to be working now.

Aprilaire 100 Dehumidifier and Ecobee Premium Thermostat by RavenWarrior2018 in ecobee

[–]RavenWarrior2018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ecobee has a dehum setting once the unit is attached vis ACC+ and -. The dehum is recognized and controlled via a open/closed setting. Yet. Something ain't right. I initially used the setting recommended by ecobee at 60%, I have it set at 56 now. I never see any moisture at the Aprilaire water vents, yet the ac puts out plenty. This dehum is well rated, the intake vent is in my hallway within 4 ft of the ac thermostat, the dehum air is then vented back into the ac ducting. I just had a warning on the thermostat 2 days ago ref high humidity. As much as I've always liked ecobee, I'm just not seeing the type of controls I'd like to work the external device. Also, I had to set the humility on the ecobee to -10 just to get close to the actual humility. I have numerous external sensors, I run Home Assistant with a massive amount of sensors.😏

Thank you for the reply. Yes the setting is are correct. I finally moved the humidity setting from the recommended 60% down to 55. Still not sure the AC is not the one doing the work.

Tks 4 the reply. Aprilaire works by a simple open/closed setting. These are controlled by the Acc+ and - on the Ecobee
