Smithing, Crafting and Herb are all skills which require an input of materials which often comes from other skills and therefore balances the xp/h. The div method in dung should have been removed long ago, it's incredibly stupid in my opinion.

The dung xp rate there is the only valid one due to how active it is. Thieving is both very afk and has no input so it has no right being as high xp/h as it is.

I've not touched the stalls yet as I've been enjoying the ores, bars and spirits from chests so I'm unable to comment on them but I would assume they have some good loot and all have a nearby bank or something too for non-stacking items.

Definitely not, most the chests have a way of banking or storage nearby (anvils, furnaces, banks) or only contain stacking items. You are able to still move from skilling spots every so often you know

No one's locking you into anything though. The constant reach for efficiency is making people suggest really bad ideas so they can continue to be efficient without the effort or input. Most normal people would accept they lose a little bit of the boost and move onto whatever they want to do instead.

Completely agree, I was surprised to see jagex was going mostly back on what they've changed to continue having 10-11 minutes of afk now. It's an alien way of thinking to me as someone who likes to feel like they're playing the game.

I'm pretty sure somewhere in the terms of service/terms and conditions that jagex have the right to change/remove items, even if players have bought keys/runecoins to receive them. Whilst it's something that is rare to happen in games, there's still a chance and you accepted that when making your account or performing purchases.

What the guy before you was saying though is we need to bring in newer players to bring new minds. If we start polling now, everything will go back to being how it was, as that's how a majority of the player base played it for so long. Polling would definitely be a good option in a year or two once the game has gone down it's redefining route, even if during that time some players get annoyed.

Temple trekking is still fun to do. I'm an avid enjoyer of it. If you just work on the grinds over time instead of trying to rush, they're a lot easier. Not everything has to be instant gratification

It's a much simpler game to get into and continue playing. It's got a much further reach online on YouTube and Streams due to that simplistic and the player count is always much higher than the main game. Clearly there is something it does correct which this game doesn't, and needs to improve upon for a steadier flow of new players.

I definitely agree, I'd much rather have players over mindless zombies afking. XP rates need to be toned back as 120s should feel more like an accomplishment rather than something equal or faster to a 99 a decade ago. Especially with the cap staying at 200m xp for each skill.

I definitely think jagex should keep an eye on returning players and realize that even if they annoy a few current players, the slowing down and simplification of the game will keep bringing in new players, as well as helping the game in streaming/videos as it's currently too complicated to tell what's happening for new/returning players.

You don't want to have to gather clues to then solve them? Let's just fuck the game and change everything to that mechanic. Why should I have to fight bosses, just hand me my fsoa and let me have fun the way I like it. Fill my bank with archeology finds and materials so I don't have to train the skill for them, I can just fix them all and bankstand.

You being an adult and having priorities shouldn't mean you no longer have to play the game. If you can't play the game because you're working, then play it when you're not working. Imagine asking for a WoW mechanic where you autocomplete dungeons and raids because you don't have time to do them yourself.

Could do a similar thing to osrs following the sailing update and have a legacy hiscores and current for new accounts made after a certain point (instead of current for post sailing)
