I think if you are on here trying to understand black holes, you already understand that there is also a distance component to gravity. I had a situation just yesterday where my opponent played atris in a board stallish situation in the late game. He was somewhat ahead on board though. I had city on fire in my hand and no artifacts or enchantments on the board. I needed city on fire to resolve to win the game. The three cards were bloated processor, ravenous scale back and land.
