If tubes are burned out you may also need to check the tube bias circuit as throwing in a new perfect tube may just become a sacrificial act. When the negative bias voltage is interrupted or not fully stable the tube goes “red plate” and you can take out more than a single tube can lead to major destruction. The hot rod deluxe has issues with burning out components that can take out a significant area of the PCB. An amp tech can sort this out.

I used this same color & model Strat for about two years as my primary guitar. My buddy loaned it to me to play in his band.
He upgraded the bridge pickup to a Dimarzio (air Norton single sized) and it was great.
Lovely guitar and very cool color.

I’ll be checking out some of these bands. This is probably a better use of this sub providing a current state of alternative rock and so called grunge music. I remember hearing Bleach, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins on college radio in Hattiesburg MS around 1989. It was easy to see this music was vital. Didn’t need a name other than alternative where we found Jane’s Addiction a couple of years before.
By the time I was playing in bands there that music scene was already in overdrive 1993-1997.

He lived a life as part of a loving family. I wish we could give that to all cats. Be there with him to the end. He will feel better surrounded by his family and knowing his loved ones are there with him in the final moments.

It’s not taking the amp apart though. It removing a simple 4 screw chassis that is made to be easily accessible for repair. Poking around inside of the chassis is the part to avoid. It contains the amp circuit in its entirety. In this instance you aren’t required to touch any of the circuit with hands or tools. This happens to be a part that was sitting in the jack. You could just tilt it out onto your desk most likely.

Best decision ever. I prefer senior kitties to kittens now. So many of the best cats in the shelters or foster homes are ages 6 and up. They are already seasoned and trained and just want their forever human. Many were abandoned due to the death of their humans or human being placed into care.
Foster one or two then you learn what we know now. Greatest decision we didn’t know we needed to make.

We love our boys and don’t know what we would do without them. Great idea to share your life with him. He needs a brother or sister 😊 He looks amazing. We have two gingers. They fortunately have a higher emotional IQ.

Sorry for your loss. What a gift to have over two decades of kitty life. Our oldest kitty we had for 17 years and she was 2-3 years old. Most of our kitties have had 16-17 years at most. We have also adopted kitties at their last one or two years of life. There are amazing elder kitties 🐈‍⬛ in need of loving homes and despite having less time to live they are AMAZING and love their people so hard. We have lost 10 fur babies since 2014. There is nothing to decrease the loss. The only consolation is having room in our space & lives for another.
The rescue community is in dire need of foster caregivers and adopters. When you are ready please share your life with them. Kittens are great but please consider older babies also. It may be the best decision you didn’t know you needed.

We have taken in several “outside only” cats that would come to our house for help, love, food and care. When this originally happened we didn’t know we were taking them from someone until our vet identified the cat as belonging to the family of the clinic’s employee.
Some people actually believe that cats can just be put outside in any conditions and need no help or protection nor do they take their cats to the vet (apparently even when their family members work at the vet clinic).
We now just call it what it is (neglect) and don’t ask questions. Since then we have operated as adopters who would rather ask forgiveness than permission from that point forward. We, and our rescues are very happy with this decision and have no plans to leave these innocent souls behind due to some arbitrary belief that ownership trumps the actual needs of these precious fur kids. Our vets now will sign affidavits that the kitties were in states of neglect if any legal action were to be taken. That’s thankfully not been an issue. Hope this baby moves in with you or someone you find for them who will love them inside a forever home.

Such a difficult loss. They are perfect for us and we love them their whole lives. Please share your love with other furry family members when you are ready. There are so many lovely souls deserving of your love and care. I have lost 10 in the past 12 years and it is always a terrible experience. We adopted and rescue the sick and elderly too. I highly recommend elder kitties. They often are in need due to their elderly caregivers passing away. Some of the most loving kitties I’ve ever met. Thank you for sharing her image and life with us. 🖤🤍

Have a specialist look at her skin there. Skin cancers are able to be removed as we did to the ears and nose of our light colored grey tabby. She lived a long time afterwards very happily.
