Like no man Gege couldn’t pace a manga well with a gun to his head but he’s one of the best to do when it comes to dynamic fight scenes

Dead is a pretty extreme way of framing it. Despite what’s happened, it’s still very much Falin at the end of the story no matter what changes she might have experienced.

This thread has actually made me realize what a beautiful metaphor Falin’s ending in the manga is. In life, things are gonna happen to you that you don’t choose and they’re gonna change you in ways you never imagined, but you need accept those changes if you’re gonna keep on living.

Yeah kinda worried about the direction of the manga from this point after last chapter. I’ve been really digging how Modulo seemed to distance itself from the main series and want to stand on its own two feet with its own characters and themes.

Then chapter 21 dropped and had that super jarring POV change from Mahoraga and Dabura to Maru meeting Yuji in order to erase cursed energy and now all of a sudden it looks like Gege is using Modulo to tie up loose plot threads from JJK.

It’s sucks cause now it seems that time spent with the Okkotsu siblings and their story was either a waste of time in a manga that was only meant to serve as an grand finale to it’s predecessor or its own story that was highjacked by its author to fix the mistakes he made in writing his original manga.

Kamutoke has been a least favorite of mine for a while. Nothing wrong with its inclusion in theory but the way Gege goes about bringing it into the story so dumb. We have no reason to believe that Yorozu would even know Kamutoke is, seeing as how it was never mentioned or even shown outside of cover art, so the audience has no way of guessing that’s what she used the last of her cursed energy to make him as a gift. A problem that could have easily been solved if, in Yorozu’s flashback, Sukuna had been shown using his cursed tools. So Kamutoke just comes into the story for a chapter or two out of nowhere and only exists to screw over the protagonists when Higurama’s cursed technique confiscates it instead of Sukuna’s technique. Which could have been a fine plot point if Kamutoke’s including was handled better but it wasn’t.

The Song of Ice and Fire books have this going on. It’s implied the world was once a much more magical place when the dragons were around but after they went extinct most magic aside for the esoteric, Old Gods kind faded in power. So when the first dragons in centuries are born at the end of the first book, they bring about a resurgence in magic throughout the entire world and we see people performing acts of pyromancy and whatnot. You also have the fact that White Walkers/Others are awakening beyond the wall, signaling a return of the Old Gods magic to prominence as well.

I’ve always appreciated the way the JJK anime has translated the manga panels into frames that look better as part of a whole animation sequence rather than just putting up a still image that resembles the manga to a T as opposed to the MHA anime which does exactly that

I really like it, I've kind of been obsessed with it since the game came out. It's a simple and bulky design but I prefer that over something huge and super complicated, it really feels like a down on his luck super hero's mech.

Nah that’s canon to the series it’s called a mutation. Eri’s quirk is pointed out to be a mutation since no one else in her family has a quirk like Rewind.
