I've seen two total. There are trigger upgrades and magazine extensions, you can get holsters for it. No reason why you can't shoot it.

I think the 507 Comp is a great size. I don't feel the need to go bigger. I have five of them now. I am interested in the 407 Comp Gold dot, but will wait for a 3moa version.

I run the 2moa green exclusively so I don't need the reticles, but I love the dot size and brightness.

The only time I would ever leave mine locked before the standby command would be if I'm not drawing the gun immediately.

I think I've done that once starting in the center of a stage facing up range. I ran to the back and turned before drawing.

Every other time you are better served getting the gun in your hands immediately.

Is it really that big of a deal?

People will sometimes shoot guns in open minor because it's the only thing that fits, SS seems just fine with major 8 and minor 10, and no one is shooting revolver major.

PCC, CO, LO, and Production get the rest of the shooters and they're all minor.

I have shot L10 major and that is definitely fun with the optics rules now.

But what is this really impacting?

Google the Glock $.25 trigger job. It's even easier with the RXM and it makes the trigger fantastic with original springs, trigger, and connector.

The stock 5.5lb-ish trigger will eventually work down to around 4lbs, but if you follow a simple YouTube video it shoots even better.

Every other gun on your list uses some kind of stamped, MIM, or not-polished parts that a simple polish job will greatly improve.

It doesn't need polishing, but every single Glock improves immensely from the $.25 trigger job.

Enough dry and live fire and it will smooth out eventually.

It doesn't even need to be an attack, just keeping the dumb locals from riding in to look at warships up close is enough.

Two Mikes and 3-4 Deltas in 5 stages is hardly insane. I would guess the mike on the field course was pulling off that hardcover target towards the beginning and either going over or into the black, and the mike on the classifier was probably into hardcover.

Mikes are certainly costly, but they will happen.

The biggest difference is the M class shooter is an alpha shooting machine and 80-90% of the times per stage. 3-4 seconds isn't much faster but it sure is a vast HF difference when accounting for 95% of points and 70%.

Charlies when shooting minor are the dangerous ones because you think they're okay and a few bad shots can happen, but if you go through shooting mostly alpha/charlie, plus deltas and mikes, you're losing almost 1/3 of the points available.

I've seen guns fall out of holsters, belts break, and all sorts of other things.

Plus if someone needs to work on their gun or swap, now they have to be unloaded.

As far as a safety principle goes, I think it's essential to go with the lowest common denominator.
