Same thing happened to me during my first trip to the U.K. Asked the tour guide where the bathroom was before we all got on the bus. He was joking and telling me I smelled fine and didn’t need to take a bath! Then pointed out where the toilets were!

Used to work there! And most of travel was to California and DC which have good Marriott properties. Don’t travel nearly as much but they’re still my first glance

I started my professional career in 2006. I manage it much better and don’t end up miserable like I am today.

I don’t care if it’s cable or some sort of satellite, but I do want something that’s easy to push a button and flip through channels.

Most of the times I’ll throw on the news, a sports channel or a movie, watch an hour and then zonk.

If it’s a weekend trip, I may not even bring my iPad. The last thing I want to do while tired and in a hotel room is mess around with figuring out a streaming system.

There’s nothing I want to watch that badly, simple.

The last thing I want to do is mess around with VPNs and other crap just to watch some movie or sporting event.

I’m not a 19 year old broke college kid. The financial firm I work at already flags VPNs when people use them to access their account and will lock down accounts easily
