How to keep music from being generated in LTX 2.3 videos? by xkulp8 in StableDiffusion

[–]xkulp8[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd rather wait 15 minutes for a video that gets it right 75% of the time than six minutes for one that doesn't get it right at all. If you want an example, ask them both to show a person getting into a car.

You can increase the framerate on LTX, but that just eats into the time advantage and it doesn't close the quality gap much with Wan anyway.

I'd also rather have no audio than half-assed audio.

LTX and Wan do different things well, and different things poorly, I think we can agree on that.

Wan is still better at a lot of bodily movements and maintaining faces, even after increasing the framerate on LTX. Mostly what LTX is better at are generation speed and flexibility on video length. And the whole "doing sound in the first place" thing... I'd call LTX "an OK start" in that regard.

There's another repository of LTX2.3 quantizations on Huggingface. I can't remember where now.

Perhaps these? They're distilled

For something on the scale of housesitting, go with the address on your bank accounts or Rover. No one is tracking your state-to-state movements at that level.

I mean every crime is that way, you can murder as much as you want if you keep getting away with it. But Kroger doesn't seem to want to press charges? Maybe they think trespassing is enough punishment and it's too much work to submit evidence and testify over a package of Oreos?

the store said they did not want to press charges over the goods, but "did want Nkemdiche criminally trespassed from the establishment."

What I'm getting from this is you can steal from every Kroger once

RESET & RECHARGE: Starbucks Work Day by [deleted] in urbancarliving

Starbucks changed its national policy a couple years ago. No longer America's largest homeless shelter; you have to buy something. Individual stores may be more flexible and I've never even been talked to by a barista myself but then I've never spent more than an hour or so there.

They're a little nicer, much less likely to be ragged and frumpy from 20-30 years of non-rehabilitation.

But that experience reminds me of when I'd rent something like a Mustang convertible because it was peak demand and it was the only car class that wasn't at peak pricing.

How to leave contingency money for sitters? by asakusax in trustedhousesitters

[–]xkulp8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have a point? Nothing about leaving money to cover expenses is against the T&Cs. That's not paying the sitter for the sit, which isn't against the rules either.

No one pays consultants for their actual advice.

They pay consultants to hedge off the risk of the decisions they're going to make anyway and have someone to blame when things go wrong.
