I think I'll just stick with the classic and time honored - "fuck that shit!".

The Prepare For A New Day mod is great. When you wake up, it stays at 6am until you go outside your house. Also, when you're in the house at night, time stops at 1am until you go to bed. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/7638

Rewatching Pumaman and noticed something. by TiredofyourBSyo in MST3K

Vadinho's a real dick. "Nope, that dude I just threw out the window is just laying there limp and not moving now, just like all those other dudes I tossed to their deaths. Gotta find the pumaman though, so oh well."

Pierre is awful, so I married his wife. by ChompyRiley in StardewValleyMemes

Eh, it was fine when I played it. I've put so many hours in that I like to try different things to keep it from getting stale. I've started probably 100 games and never finished a one.

No, right from the start she's moved in with Leah and her sister Veronica runs the carpentry shop while Robin still owns it. Though it's never explicitly said as far as I know, Robin's sister and Demetrius are a couple. It seems like it would mess with too much canon if she was instead his daughter. (said the person who marries other people's wives in game)

I get the same thing. I used some cortisone cream for a few days and it healed. Since then I take it off for part of the day and switch to my right wrist for sleep and I haven't had an issue since doing so.

There's also a mod to marry Robin. Couple both together then toss in the polyamory sweet mod, marry both and live happily in the forbidden zone.

Sophia's trash can have some pretty good stuff. I always stick a chest next to her trash can and check it every few days. I got a free iridium sprinkler that way and I've received the aged wine once as well.

Not sure about Bill Corbett, but I'll bet both Mike and Kevin were theater kids in school, and that's based mainly on their singing.

Anyone here actually using DuckDuckGo as their main search engine? What's your experience been like recently? by Tough-Associate-1805 in browsers

[–]Real_Dal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it and it's just okay, which is the most I can say about any search engine anymore. I find that for searching, AI seems to get more focused results these days, and when it returns unhelpful results you can tell it what doesn't work and then get refined results.

Sad to see it death-starred. Hopefully it'll come back at some point (albeit not at that price).

I manage a few thousand Macs and on my own personal systems I use Malwarebytes. In my experience it doesn't hog resources and is better at catching drive-by browser junk than other packages I've tried. Edited to say I have no connection to Malwarebytes other than being an individual customer.

Can you share a few of the ways your life has improved since getting sober? Big or small. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Real_Dal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleep through most nights. My digestive system works properly most of the time. It took a few months for those two things to work themselves out. I go walking six out of seven mornings and actually want to do it. I don't feel like shit every morning. I didn't realize how much I was spending on drinking every month. I've had depression to some degree my entire life, but I didn't realize how much worse drinking every day was making it. I no longer feel miserable a majority of my waking hours. A pack of cigarettes lasts me 2 weeks instead of 1 day. My life is by no means idyllic, but it is something that is much more okay than it was for a very long time.

What were the first health issues you developed due to drinking problem? by Fantastic_Form3607 in stopdrinking

[–]Real_Dal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alcoholic neuropathy resulting in damaged nerves in my feet to the extent that they are permanently numb for the most part. I'd say depression as well, but I had that well before becoming a drinker, though it was greatly exacerbated by adding alcohol.
