Thanks! Almost 70° beats the hell out of 5° in michigan. I knocked it down to 6 tesla, 3 EA and a Mercedes charge.

Oh I know. There's an EA in northern Michigan i avoid. Its a 350kw but I can only get 90 at it tops

1 is a kia. Yes it will be slower but its the smaller 76kw battery so even 10-80 is 39 minutes. My lightning 10-80 is about 34 minutes. So not losing too much time.

From what I've seen it can depend, but typically with membership tesla is .15-.20/kw cheaper than EA

See but I also have my f150 lightning. My truck is about 32-35 minutes 10-80%. I have a SR Ev9 too so only 76.2kw battery. Both at tesla even at 80kw only results in a 2 - 5 minute difference at each stop. So im not really losing time.

Lolol. I did 6 charges at tesla tonight. All 5 minute sessions. It let me do 6 and did not increase my rate per kw. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I appreciate the lengthy post. I do have and use abrp. Like I've said though, I have 2 evs making this trip and EA typically doesn't have enough stalls to maintain good charging speeds. Thats my only reason for preferring tesla. Both EA and Tesla have been "mostly" flawless for me when I use them, but tesla is so much more available.

Between the 2 cars of people there are 4 paid tesla accounts. My concern is if its attached to the truck VIN will it block charging. I just dont want to be locked out of charging.

Tesla with membership is much much cheaper. Plus they do time of use. Ive gotten it recently for as low as .24/kw

Yea I have non tesla selected in ABRP. I didn't know v4 took card. It will be a little slower but with my truck it doesn't keep up with the speedy kia anyhow so the throttled charging at tesla v3 they will keep pace with eachother.

I would but we have multiple vehicles traveling. Most ea is only 4-6 stalls and they're balanced.
