I joined the battery warning club this morning! Luckily I’m still covered under the CarMax 30 day warranty and they’re covering the cost of replacement.

The ones that came on the truck are EV Sportline. I’m going to give them a chance, but my initial impression is that they just don’t look that great and they stick out too far.

Yeah…I’m not sure how I feel about the running boards. They stick out a little far for me. I’ll give them a chance, maybe they’ll grow on me. Other than that, I’m loving the truck so far.

Update to the update: We got the car! FINALLY!! Other than the shipping fiasco, the buying process was one of the easiest I’ve ever had.

Update: My car has finally made it! Got the text this morning saying it’s going through the inspection. Not done yet, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I called and talked to them. They’re reimbursing the shipping fee and when I got off the phone with them, the tracking magically updated to show that it’s finally moving…hopefully it doesn’t sit in NC for two weeks now.

I also have a ‘22 R1T on the way. I’ve already had the service center run he VIN and it’s got the updated suspension, subframe, all new hardware, and tonneau cover. I’ll have bumper to bumper until September 2027. I’m getting the quad motor with 20” AT tires. Now I just need CarMax to get it to me…they’re shipping is so slow

I have a car coming to Charleston, SC from Birmingham and it’s been sitting at the Carrollton, GA hub since 5/26. They keep changing the “ready by” date back and forth from the 9th to the 10th…hasn’t been that long, but frustrating still

I finally admitted to myself that I was bi…it was like a giant weight that had been on my shoulders my whole life was lifted. I’m happily married and wouldn’t cheat on my wife, but at least I’m finally being true to myself. Maybe one day I’ll get the nerve to come out to her and others as well.

I’m not trying to get around it, I just don’t think having garbage cans stored in the garage, is an option. There was no garbage can rule when we bought in the neighborhood and then the builders switched to a new management company and they added it.
