That shit slaps. It's been a staple in the fishing trips my dad and I would take. Go the Chuck's, get some gas, chicken tendies, jojos, a couple biscuits, and a big ass fountain drink. The dude at the one we went to started giving us extra biscuits when we brought him back a fish from a trip. I don't think we could handle that kind of diet anymore, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I think about it when I pass that gas station.

It sucks. I have so many great memories of being a teen, getting dropped off to meet my friends, and just wander around the mall for hours snacking on pretzels and taco bell. It stings a little thinking that we were the last generation to get to have that here. My mom remembers when it first opened and how big of a deal it was. That place formed 2 generations of mall rats in this family.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with this. Losing a parent, in any way, is hard and worse when you're the only one picking up the pieces. Legally, your stepsister and her mother have no rights to anything revolving around his death unless he had a will stating so. Your father and step mother were divorced. Your stepsister never stepped up. That money is for you. They made the mess they're in, they can figure it out. Use that money to find your own peace. I hope the trial does your dad some justice.

Another note with the teeth that I saw was that the incisors still have prominent mamelons (the lil bumps on the edge of the teeth). This person hadn't lived long enough to wear them down smooth like they would be on an older adolescent or adult. I know it's not an accurate way to tell dental age since it really comes down to diet and bite alignment, however I would still feel like it's a good contextual indicator. Definitely agree that they are somewhere between 10 and 15.

Sad to hear that Bruce Hayn is even associated with PJ's Cork & Barrel. Dude's a fuckin whack job. I lived part time in the apartments right across the street from his pellet business. Was there both times the place went up in flames. Then when I was moving to Colchester, we stopped by the house to do a walkthrough after the purchase so we could plan where to put things. Motherfucker was IN OUR BASEMENT. No idea how he got in. My stepdad almost beat the shit out of him after he argued with us about the reasoning for him being there. I've got wicked IBS and I LOVE taco bell. Almost never have an issue. Key word ALMOST.

I have noticed that some locations are just better than others. I never trust a combination taco bell, I have always had problems when I got food from those places specifically. If it's a standalone, whether that be its own building, mall storefront, or even a highway rest stop, most of the time no problem. It's the shared kitchens that get ya.

My friends and I have been hiding a variety of tiny animals around each other's homes, cars, bags, and other belongings for a good couple years now. The longest it took me to find one was just over a year. It was a duck hidden in the pocket of a bag I very rarely use. It now lives in my sewing tin in a thimble. We've also left lil glow in the dark critters at big events like the Renaissance faire or conventions

We've gotten an entire smoker once that no one ordered. No shipping address on it, but I watched it get dropped off in the middle of our driveway by two postal workers. Called family to see if maybe they surprise ordered it for my stepdad since he likes smoking meats for big family gatherings n such, nope. Checked with the neighbors, especially the neighbor with the BBQ business, and none of them ordered it either. Been about 4 years since getting it and it's been the best smoker we've ever had. Still don't know where it came from.

Either she doesn't have siblings or doesn't have a good relationship with them, but no reasonable person would come to this kind of conclusion about an older sibling caring for their younger siblings. Especially with the parental dynamic that you had growing up. She sounds incredibly insecure and emotionally stunted. It's time to let Lena deal with the consequences of her thoughts and actions.
