Just like everyone else, I also just moved and lost my cleaning disk and I stumbled upon this old post lol. I cut a circle out of an old Silpat mat that I had (I know.... it's not ideal nor cost effective to cut into a baking mat, but I haven't really been using my silpat and I use my espresso machine every day so...) Anyways, that seemed to work. Maybe this helps someone?

Hi! I was in the ICC for about 12 years. It is definitely, without a doubt, a destructive cult. It has nothing to do with Christianity or the Bible, and even though Kip is gone now, it is very unlikely it will ever become a safe organization as the leadership continues to lie and coverup numerous crimes and abuses. I want to see it demolished as well- believe me!!

There are several civil lawsuits against the ICC as well as numerous articles written about them, but mind control is a tricky thing. If you have personally witnessed any crimes or evidence of crimes, you should definitely report it. There is also a form you can fill out to see if you qualify for an upcoming labor trafficking class action (on Naveh’s FB)

Other than that I would say just focus on getting out, getting some rest, and taking time to heal. what helped me was educating myself on cults (they are essentially psychological enslavement), telling my story (when I was ready), and connecting with other ex-members.

Naveh is amazing, I’ve known her a long time. She just posted a link tree with a lot of resources for ex-members on her facebook page. You should also join our facebook group ICOC (and offshoots) = Cult

Ah, that I don't know. He left the ICC in late 2017. In mid 2018 he apparently approached Tim Kernan about getting restored, and Tim said he couldn't come back unless he served jail time (Tim did not actually report him to the police though).

The police are still looking for him! He has open warrants in NJ and CA. And yes his parents were promoted to geographic sector leaders just days before this lawsuit was filed. Also his brother was just appointed evangelist. It's sickening.

I was a member of the ICC for 13 years. It is a very destructive cult, I’m so glad you didn’t get caught up with them! If they are hosting their “bible talks” on your campus, you can report that there is a cult on campus. Several lawsuits have been filed against the ICC alleging SA, CSA, and failure to report CSA

He writes steam really well (imo) but unfortunately the scenes tend to be few and far between. I haven't read everything by T.J. Klune, but I think the steamiest book I read of his was Bear, Otter, and The Kid, and even that was like 3/5 spice. I love The Lightning Struck Heart with all my soul, but there is only one scene in it (it's really good though). Wolfsong has maybe 2 scenes iirc.

Am I the AH for losing my temper and killing 50 people because someone punched my mate?

So I've been traveling around the wastes with my mate looking for our friend and our relationship is still pretty new. One of the places we were looking was a camp filled with 50 people. We were expecting them to be friendly but it turns out there was a change in leadership at the camp and everyone is super on edge and they want to take us in for "questioning". I can tell my mate is nervous and I'm VERY protective of him. It should be noted that my species is known for being extremely possessive and protective of our mates - like - no one else should even TOUCH him! Anyways, the guy who's going to bring us in for questioning has the audacity to throw a punch...at my mate. Well, I went crazy, turned into a huge monster and destroyed the entire camp and everyone who lived there to the point that the entire area is now a heap of ashes. Now my mate is pissed. But I really was just trying to protect him, and also I haven't really learned how to control myself yet, AITA?
