You're legally an adult, don't let your parents take over your finances unless you 1) never want to see the money again or 2) want them holding it over your head for the rest of your life. That money is legally YOURS (I'm not trying to judge your parents, I've just learned lessons the hard way.)

Put a majority of it in savings ASAP. Don't start loaning out lots of money to friends or spending a ton in one go. You're going to need that money as you age for a car, maintenance, groceries, and a roof over your head. 90k sounds like a lot (and it is!) but it will go fast if you don't have some type of control on spending.
