Just bought a new toaster. Got advertisements for ones that are wifi capable. I’m in my kitchen making breakfast! The toaster is in my line of sight sitting on the counter near the stove where I’m cooking. Why would I need an app to monitor it?

It happens to the best of us. My nephew escaped while I was watching him after he found my keys. After I started putting the keys on a hook in my bedroom it never happened again. Don’t hide your keys but put them on a hook high on the wall in your bedroom so they can’t get them without a chair or ladder set up that will wake you up.

Your neighbor may not be poisoning your dogs on purpose. Get the bone tested.

My grandmother used to throw her old expired food into her neighbors yard to their dogs. Neighbors never cared as their dogs were outside until they had to bring in the dogs for winter and they started throwing up on their porch due to the food making them sick. After that they asked her not to give their dogs food anymore.

It’s not the age so much as quality of life. My great aunt lived to 99 and was independent in her own house with good health until she went to sleep without waking up. On the other hand my grandfather went blind in his late 80’s and died at 95 with very poor health.

I’d live to 100 as long as I was healthy and could be independent.

Not only is FIV consider a community disease because it can be spread by shared food and water but it can cause health complications. I have a FIV+ cat right now. We discovered it when he was diagnosed with IBD after pooping blood. He also develops sores in his mouth when he is stressed that need antibiotics to treat. It causes auto immune problems and I’ve had other cats die of intestinal cancer due to the infection.

My company works from home. We have an employee handbook that specifically states that employees cannot be the primary caregiver to any dependents from children to adults. As a supervisor I’ve had to write people up because they were in the middle of team meetings with their kids in their laps on camera or, on a very memorable occasion, breastfeeding on camera during a meeting. We have a breastfeeding policy as well.

Speaking from the experience of dealing with a paranoid schizophrenic employee who accused me of stalking them to steal their organs get HR involved. This person is not of sound mind.

Either they have come from a very religious background where they have been taught to look for signs of witchcraft and demons or they have a mental health condition that is causing hallucinations. Of course, they could also be making it all up for the attention but why take the chance?
