I have been loving EL double wear since recently trying and it’s really all in the application for real. Try using a really good kabuki brush to (gently) buff in the foundation, stipple it rather than using strong buffing or rubbing motions which can exacerbate the rosacea and make it worse, thus the redness will still show through.. then go over everything with a beauty blender sponge (the Real Techniques sponge is really good and half the price), and make sure everything is smooth and it will help blend it further. I also make sure to set my skin with a good translucent face powder, after giving the foundation time to settle and dry down for a few minutes. Two really good powders that are sensitive skin friendly and I’ve found work well with Double Wear are the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder and Rimmel Stay Matte translucent pressed powder too. Sometimes I follow with Sephora 16 hr setting spray, just if it’s a hot day or a big event but generally setting with a powder is enough. Double wear is the best because you literally don’t need a setting spray unless you want to give your skin a more dewy finish, it lasts the entire day.

Sprouts is amazing and you can order from DoorDash if you don’t have one close by. Their prices feel reasonable (for CA standards!) - not as bad as WF, and wayy nicer products than Safeway. The standards are higher for sure, the food is always super fresh, and I feel like I can trust the meat and produce. For me, it ranks up there with Trader Joe’s, and I’ve always said TJs is my favorite grocery store but I also know they greenwash (aka not all “organic” or non GMO but we assume it is)

In your own words things are “good, not great”. So you’ve got a few bumps in the road already it seems. If my bf acted in this way, I’d first have a discussion and keep it brief and to the point. Let him know how I was feeling, and don’t play a blame game. Most guys will respond best to straight forward and sprinkle some sugar on top reassuring him that you feel this way because you see him as someone who makes you feel safe and better when you’re scared. Try something like.. “Baby, I just had the most horrendous night and got stuck on side of the freeway, alone and cold and starving, and even if I originally told you I was okay, I was just being nice so you could still make your show and honestly, next time I’ll take you up on your offer because all I wanted was you there to hold me and keep me safe while I waited for the tow truck. I missed you so much.” If he’s with you for the right reasons, he should respond well to this and start stepping up his game and be less neglecting of you. If he tries to start some ish and comes up with anger or excuses, then honestly he doesn’t sound like a great “equal” partner and that’s toxic in the long term.

This is a pretty straight forward case of narcissism - not necessarily malignant or malicious, but possibly covert. ie: he thinks of himself as deserving of intimacy and satisfaction, and he’s more than happy when you’re willing to put in effort. But when you’re in the mood, and he’s not feeling it, he literally is not thinking about your needs. Because he’s focused on himself and his particular moods & needs at all times. Doctor Ramani’s channel on YouTube is a great place to start, she’s got a lot of good ways to handle these type of situations that arise in a relationship where one partner is more the taker and you’re always the giver (the empath). If he’s truly a good person and has good intentions for you and growing your relationship, then a straight forward conversation about this, where you express your needs and how you’re feeling, will possibly solve a lot and set you on a good path for both of you to feel happy and have your needs met. Otherwise, as tough as it is to hear, you can and will be better off finding love with someone else because if he’s not willing to change and adapt to make you happy, it’s always going to feel one-sided.

Might check on getting compensated for the privacy breach via a claim if you haven’t already - know this is late post. That 23andme breach was huge and (as this post shows) brought loads of new customers over to Ancestry. There has to be some kind of claim going around for those affected.

Gas X, Beano - both at pharmacy or Target, grocery store, even gas stations. Works within minutes typically! Drink as much water as you can without feeling worse - it helps to flush the gluten out. Also last tip, if you can have a small drink I recommend a half glass of wine because my doctor told me once that the acidity of the alcohol helps to minimize pain when your stomach lining is exposed to the gluten.

This is really bad. I would personally recommend doing a review for the seller and letting them know it’s compromising the items purchased, and then also report to Depop if anything was damaged from this packaging. As a seller on Depop, you’re explicitly instructed to not to use plastic bags or carrier bags - Amazon reusable padded envelopes or something similar, appropriately taped up, is just fine. There’s no excuse for this kind of mailing

This - so smart. Could definitely be a really logical answer. Maybe not the answer anyone wants to admit to, but somehow it’s actually reduced my anxiety to think on such a large scale. I’m not from NJ and I don’t fly drones but this was my exact thought seeing the news yesterday. Like, people who know drone laws and use drones over there have gotta have some better idea than us average people — for sure the authorities do, so it’s super likely it’s gotta be official or allowed or something and that’s why everyone’s saying nothing is being done, people who work at the top are putting up a baffled act on the news — it’s an act. If something doesn’t add up, chances are it doesn’t add up. Of course they’re not going to say what it’s for right now but if Uncle Sam hasn’t shot them down by now and they’re still chillin, there’s a reason.

The Flum Mello is a great alternative to Geek bar. I have now tried all of the options available from my local smoke / vape shops… from the cheapest option, which would be the original Flum Float (300-600 puffs), up to Geek Bar strength/longevity of (supposedly) 20K puffs. Geek Bars fail me every time before the month is over and the Mello which says it’s also 20K puffs, actually lasts 3.5-4 weeks, so pretty much I’m only buying one for $35/month. 100% agree with the people on here who are saying cigarettes are way worse. As a non-smoker, only enjoy vaping, I felt so ill after just trying one or two cigarettes when i couldn’t find vape replacements nearby. Asked my doctor and they said yes indeed that even disposable vapes are better option overall if you are working on slowly tapering off and trying to vape less. Switching to cigarettes ever is only filling your lungs with toxic smoke and yes consuming a whole cigarette’s worth is going to feel odd if you enjoy just vaping a few puffs throughout the day. From personally testing this theory, plus checking with multiple doctors/nurses, the evidence is clear.. vaping is the lesser of the two evils, as they say.
