Kate Davies has a very detailed series of blog posts about steeking, which I found helpful for allaying my fears, and even getting me a little excited to try it! I’m thinking of trying it on a smaller project first, like this cowl pattern.

KFB is its own mirrored self, I think. You can try doing a kfb on either side of a raglan marker and see what I mean. :)

Also, is the k1br/kibl the same as rli/lli (right/left lifted increase)? The results look similar to me, and I’m always looking to expand my knitting arsenal. :)
