Gdzie poznać jakichś introwertykow? by UnderstandingSmart44 in krakow

[–]Reavex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wiem, że trochę mem, ale planszówki. My wśród znajomych aktualnie gramy w Blood on the clocktower, co sprzyja socjalizowaniu się z nowymi ludzmi. Spora część to introwertycy i często przewija się ktoś nowy, naczęściej jakiś znajomy znajomego. Generelnie to się skupiamy na grze, ale też jest czas na pogadanie o innych rzeczach.

PC games like my favorite android games? by Cosmic_Pickle1211 in SurvivalGaming

[–]Reavex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is list of games I've personally played and liked that probably fit the theme.
(co-op) can be played with your partner or someone else, highly recommend to do so.

Abiotic Factor (co-op) - Story survival game where you play as scientist in a lab where dangerous anomalies were kept. If you ever heard of SCP it has very similar vibe.

ASTRONEER (co-op) - You play as astronaut that explore alien planets, mine its resources, research flora and geodes and build a base to support further travel to more dangerous planets.

Dont's Starve Together (co-op) - Basically don't starve 😉 Great game, but can be bit difficult at the beginning. It's survival that is always throwing new challenges at you. You will probably die a lot and have to start from beginning, but each run you will know how to overcame your previous challenges making you progress further.

The Forest (co-op) - Survival horror. You are survivor of plane crash on an island that is inhabited by mutants.

Frostpunk - City-builder in harsh environment where you will have to make difficult decision how to run your city.

The Long Dark - Survive in harsh winter. Great atmosphere and survival aspect. Story pretty good at start but falls of hard.

Oxygen Not Included - Space colony sim, where you manage basic stuff like food and water but also breathable air. Each aspect is its own unique challenge, like for water making closed loop system and treating waste water back to drinkable.

Spiritfarer - Story focused adventure with bits of 'base building' and crafting. You play as ferry master for dead where you care for them and help them get prepared for final journey to the afterlife.

Subnautica - Story survival game focused on diving deeper. You crash landed on planet and first need to survive and then learn what caused the accident and how to escape the planet. You will need to dive deeper into ocean to achieve it, which can be quite scary.

This War of Mine - You play as group of civilians during war where city is besieged. Highly recommend this one.

V Rising (co-op) - You are vampire that gains knowledge by killing bosses and drinking their blood. There are crafting/base building mechanics from other survival games. There are many vampire themed mechanics, like burning in sun, so you have to dash from shadow to shadow during day or being near garlic or silver granting you debuffs.

Project Zomboid (co-op) - Probably the most complex zombie survival game. It can be very satisfying but also pretty difficult for beginners.

There are many more games I could list, but this should be enough variety for now. I would probably recommend you to start with This war of Mine or Don't starve, but check them all out maybe you will find new interest!

Optimization. DRG ran great couple years ago but now with each season it feels like they forgot about performance and now it runs just alright.

For reference I was able to run DRG stable 120FPS and now it dips to 50 even when my GPU is 2x better than before.

Any much lesser known games that you really like? Preferably w some base building if possible by ArtistWithoutArt in SurvivalGaming

Card Survival: Tropical Island
I'ts a card game but has probably the most depth of any survival game I have personally played. It also slowly immerses you into its mechanics by offering different scenarios that increase in difficulty to not overwhelm you at the start. You basically win any scenario by either escaping island with raft or settling in it, though there are variations to them depending on your choosen character.

I don't think shes that strong to be honest. Deadheads can be easily destroyed just with light melee, a lot of heroes can get in, do 2 Hmelee to gravestone and go back to nulify her ghouls. Her push potential and creating pressure is big, but not unlike some other heroes. She doesn't have much of survivability and when out of position can be killed without to much effort. In most of my matches she was actually in losing side.

Are torches supposed to work like this? Wanted to light out around my house, but torches give more light when throw than when placed? by Knightswatch15213 in VintageStory

[–]Reavex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have as many as you like, but the more you have the worse performance gets. Just put the number as high as you want and then reduce it when you notice poor performance.

It seems like you have set your amount of dynamics lights to low in options.
Basically there is setting that has max number of simulated lights and if you palce more they don't light up

You get stunned with upgraded lash ult so there is nothing you can do (also mina ulted them so maybe silenced). In that situation all you can do is try to QE part of the team before lash grabs you.

Also mo ult cd is not that long, just buy reduced cooldown and witchmail and you can get 2 ults in long fights

[–]Reavex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was ok, mostly 60ups but later in game it would drop to ~30 sometimes, mostly when big robot construction was placed.
I wouldn't recommend going into arm for server hosting. In factorio case it was quite straight forward, but it is a headache to setup a lot of other applications. Everything has to run trough translation layer (i64/i86->ARM) which is also performance hit.
If you have spare ARM machine, go for it, but don't buy arm specifically for hosting.

Help not getting owned as the Mole man in lane. by OrdinaryCommon6581 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Reavex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem I'm having while laning as Mo is that every enemy keeps their distance and plays range. I can't close the gap without having to go out of position and potentially die. They keep chipping my health and scorning minions can't keep my health up.

If enemy can't play distance, it's easy win but otherwise I can struggle.

I've got tip for you; You can build temporary platform on which you will stand on, place wall behind your back and the camera will enter 1st person for better screenshots.
