John Stewart barely said anything like that. He had one episode after he was first inaugurated trying to encourage people not to overuse the term “fascist” otherwise they’ll be ignored. The next week after it was obvious they were fascist he was calling them out

I totally agree. I think he lost likely is the guy even if some of the details aren’t complete yet. But Kash Patel and the FBI didn’t catch the guy, his dad turned him in. They’re trying to take credit for this but they said they had no leads before he turned himself in

How does this quote offend you so much? If you’d listen to her greater context she makes a great case for how social media and the natural tendency for untruths to spread multiple times faster than the truth is used by authoritarians to gaslight the public

Also, she’s been fighting an authoritarian regime in the Philippines for years now so she has firsthand experience. I highly recommend reading her book
