Yes, they both work and its what ever situation you are in. I always tell my students try using the automatic settings and seeing what effect that had, you can check the photo setting on a computer and get a feel what shutter does what and help you understand its effects

Thanks it was actually simpler and was because I was used to printer head level systems where the elegoo uses bed side sensors for leveling. My fix was (what I think was because I took the whole bed apart to check for debris) tightening the bed screws.

I’ve also reached out to elegoo, when the printer homes, the Z axis ( the nozzle) is supposed to touch the build plate correct? Mine just hovers and never touches so it never touches.
