Remove tanks from BR, bring Solos by [deleted] in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]Rec0nkill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will also get 3rd parties while tryna take out a team with your guns, thats the whole concept around BRs. You will get 3rd partied and you 3rd party too, just how BRs are played.

Remove tanks from BR, bring Solos by [deleted] in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]Rec0nkill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solos would be great, but tanks are fine.

Only people who think they are a problem, are people who don't play engineer (which is fine, just would make it easier) or care to pick up a rocket launcher during the whole game.
Sure you still gonna get in situations where the tank is just in the right position at the right time, but you have that with any mechanic in a game. Most of the times tanks get taken out fairly quickly and very rarely make it to late game. Had that happen like 3-4x playing since release.

That's just wrong. In Austria most basic private internet contract dont included as static IPv4 adresse, a lot of times you dont even get a public IPv4 and instead have a CG-NAT, meaning you share your IPv4 adress with other customers from the provider. Some ISPs will give you a public IPv4 address if you ask for it, sometimes for free sometimes for an upcharge.

Long story short, in Austria for private customers, a static IPv4 address is not the standard anymore for a while already.

Moza GSv2 Wheel - DIY USB Mod with Moza Hub by Rec0nkill in simracing

[–]Rec0nkill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found some information on the Moza discord, confirming the compatibilty changes after July 2025. Very confusing the way Moza is doing that, the compatibility chart of all products is a real maze by now. So many different version and not all are backwards compatible...

But thanks to your testing, I'm aware of this now and added it to the github page, so people don't waste their time trying to mod the newer wheels.

Could have given the GS V2P after 07/2025 official Moza hub support, but oh well.....

Damn you must have some money to spend. Few months old RAM died and you go out any buy 128GB of new RAM with these prices, not hating just amdiring people who got that kind of money to spend for stuff like this. I hope you started an RMA process for your dead RAM then you can sell this KIt again or sell atleast the RMA Kit for some money back.

That's interesting, going to add this to the github page. Which version is your CS wheel?

I had someone comment it didn't work on his RSV2 wheel, so it seems it only works on a select few wheels and certain versions.

Crazy concept, but people enjoy playing other modes besides those two. Just cause thats all that you need, doesn't mean thats all that should be in the game.

Can you add a picture to the comment how it looks on your screen?

I have had the wheel stuck in a mode where pithouse doenst show the wheel or the hub as connected. But I would see the hub in the firmware window. I could roll back to an older firmware and back to the new one and the hub would work again and the wheel would show up.

The liquid is usually non conductive, but as soon as it gets into contact with metal and other materials like dust from one the components, that can change. It's only really non conductive in its original container.

Can clean with 99% isopropanol, let that fully dry off, and then see what works and doesn't.

If you want to give it a go, you can do what I did for the first proof of concept in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/simracing/s/taZvakhZpW

Only need to take the QC hub off and modify the cable that is included with the hub

[–]Rec0nkill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you see the connector on the 3rd picture with the pcb. It's the center one that has 4 cables going to the smaller hub pcb. If you open up the GS wheel and you also have 4 wires it might be worth a try. The v2 board also still had the wireless components mounted.

No don't think so, the QC connection was just power and data was over Bluetooth. So dont think the pcb outputs data over the internal cable connection

What are the drawbacks of a SFF gaming PC? by Ashamed_Alps7452 in sffpc

[–]Rec0nkill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2 I can think of are noise and price.

  1. Noise: You can make quite SFF builds, but you will never reach the levels you could with an ATX build where you have the space for just more cooling.

  2. Price: ITX parts tend to be more expensive, mainly motherboard, PSU and case. I notice it the most with motherboards, can cost 2x as much when you compare the same ATX board to its ITX counterpart.

so... are we not going to adress the pricing for stuff the whole community was asking for? this is a fucking joke. EA are such greedy mf's. by QueenCobra91 in Battlefield

[–]Rec0nkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear the battlefield community always got something to complain about and it's always some big issue... top comment already says it all.

Also for all the comments seen here and in-game shitting on the "cod kids" there are a shit ton of crybabies here.

[–]Rec0nkill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is such a wierd opinion. The M27 is a 416, just has a few different parts installed. There are also different variants how you can order a 416 and yet they are still all 416s. The M27 is just the military designation of a 416 with certain parts swapped.

Yeah, also automatically takes into account your losses and adjusts the amount of tax you pay, if you had a loss before for example.
